After about 8 mths the seats started to bubble up and he came the day after I called him and replaced them free of charge!

Received quick response to message left the day after Christmas. Work was scheduled the following day and was performed correctly, efficiently, and with no mess or bother.

They were efficient and knowledgeable. They also helped me with another question about a gas fireplace I have. I also needed an electriciana nd they recommended a good one. They are coming back to work on the fireplace.

I discovered a severely leaking, underground water pipe about 3:30 PM and called Mock Plumbing for a repair. Chris Mock answered and said he would come as soon as he completed the job he was working. He arrived with an assistant after sunset, dug up the leaking pipe, and completed the repair efficiently. My portable floodlight provided the lighting.

On a Sunday afternoon I had water backing up in my kitchen sink. It drained slowly, but was not usable. I called Mock Plumbing first thing on Monday morning. Chris answered the phone (before 8 am!) and was very professional. I explained the situation and asked if he could get me on his schedule for that day. He had a full day as did I. We decided to talk after 4 pm but he assured me that he could come out that afternoon/evening. I left him a message at 4:20 pm to say I was home and that he could come to the house whenever it was convenient for him. He called me right back and said it would be about an hour before he could get to my house because he was finishing up a job. Within the hour he called me back to say he was on his was on his way and would be there in about 15 minutes. He arrived on time, assessed the problem and cleaned out the drain with the "snake". When he and Clint were finished, he gave me some pointers for keeping the kitchen drain cleared. All were very helpful. The price was extremely reasonable for the work that was done. They left no mess which was also a bonus! I would highly recommend Mock Plumbing and will call them again for any future plumbing needs.

I called on a Tuesday and they promised to send someone that Thursday at 8:00 a.m., which was terrific. I stayed home from work, got up early and waited. By 10:00 a.m. no one had showed up nor had anyone called, therefore I called. The receptionist apologized nicely and said she would call the plumber. Which she did and he called me within the next 10 minutes. He had forgotten the appointment but promised to send someone else right away, because he was involved with another job and could not leave. His subsitute arrived within 20 minutes. From there it went down hill. He tried to repair the lose faucet but said I would probably have to buy a new one. He used liquid nail to hold the faucet in place, and stated that he had used it a lot and it should last for quite a long time. I was instructed not to use the faucet for at least 2 hours. I went beyond that and didn't use it for 4 hours. After the second day the liquid nail substance began to look like clear stingly worms. He replaced the toilet flang and seal around the toilet with liquid nail. It now looks shiny and dirty all the time. For the stopped up basin sink he suggest that I pour a bottle of bleech and that would clear it up. I got the feeling he was in a hurry. Since then I have poured1 bottles of beech, 1 whole bottle of Draino, and 1 of Liquid Pumbler and the basin is still clogged up. I do not recommend Mock Plumbing nor will I ever use them again.

After reading the Angie's List reviews for plumbers, I decided to call Mock Plumbing to have them come relight the water heater. I called at about 10 AM and they offered me 3 appointment times within 24 hours. I chose one and stayed home from work to let them in. One hour from the appointment time, I received a call that the plumber would arrive about thirty minutes late. After thirty minutes the plumber called again to say he would arrive in 15 minutes, which he did. He got the water heater lit and watched it a few minutes to make sure it would stay lit. While we waited, he explained that if it did not stay lit he would have to replace the thermostat or the thermocouple. But it did not go out again. He also pointed out that the old water heater would have to be replaced at some date in the not too distant future (but not now). I asked him to look at some other things before he left and got him to tighten the kitchen sink faucet. He gave me clearly-stated estimates for the other work I asked about and was very courteous. When I decide to replace my faucets, Mock Plumbing is number one on my list.

Overall the replacement of the toilet went well. Chris Mock the owner did not come out this time and his assistant was the individual who handled the replacement of the toilet. The service went well; however, the young man does need a little coaching with regard to his interaction with the customer. When he arrived at my home he did not introduce himself - he merely said "I'm here to change the toilet." Thank goodness he was with Chris on the last visit so I recognized him and allowed him in. He also used one of my good face towels to clean the area around the floor while replacing the toilet. I discovered this once he left when I went into the bathroom to clean up and took the towel to hang it up and dirt and grim fell out of the bunched up towel. Granted it is easy to wash and bleach a towel but I would have preferred that he ask me for a work/cleaning rag rather than taking it upon himself to us one of my good towels to clean the area. To close, I will say that I will continue to use Chis Mock's plumbing services. The toilet works great and looks beautiful. I will be replacing the one in the other bathroom this month. I feel that his pricing and service is very good but does need to train his assistant a little more. I would recommend him and have recommended him to several friends in the area. Chris is professional, punctual and responds quickly to his customers needs.

The plumber arrived on time and waited on me since I was running late. Showed me his card, introduced himself and got to work. he was a professional and courteous owner. Chris arrived shortly after and helped finish the job and explained what he replaced. I had $100.00 dollars off with Angie's List Coupon.

My local water company told me there was a leak in my main water line. After arriving home from work and after a short time digging, I found a very, very small leak. Suddenly, the connection at the elbow failed and water was gushing everywhere! After the water was shut off, I went straight to Angie?s List for help. Mock Plumbing had excellent reviews, but no indication of emergency or after-hours service. At 8:00pm, I called and left a message on the voicemail. I also began calling other plumbers. Within three minutes Chris called back. Within 30 minutes he was at my house. Within 45 minutes after his arrival, the pipe was replaced and the leak fixed. Despite the emergency nature of my call, he honored the Angie?s List coupon and the final payment was less than what he quoted before coming to the house. He was professional, personable, focused on the task at hand. Chris brought to the job the discipline and work ethic that was nutured during his service in the U.S. Air Force. He won me over as a repeat customer for any future plumbing needs I may have. I am an extremely pleased customer.

Chris kept in contact with me during the bad weather, worked with the city to get the utilities marked, sent me schematics showing my line and tie-in, informed me frequently of his schedule and what he planned to do and then showed up on time, with a solid crew of workers and did a professional job in less than a day . He even carefully removed an area of ornamental plantings and then replanted them when finished.

I called Mock Plumbing around 8:00 in the morning because of a back up problem with our toilet and they came to our home in Prairieville within 30 minutes. Brandon and Chris found the problem which was a busted pipe and went to work right away. The entire process was finished before noon and with hardly a trace that anyone had been there at all. The deep hole they had to dig to repair the pipe was barely even noticeable after Brandon covered it back, taking extra care to make sure everything was neat and clean. Chris and Brandon were both very friendly and explained the entire process from why we'd sprung a leak, to how they repaired it. I really appreciate how professional these guys are, and they've earned my business and referral! Thanks guys!

I needed to have the kitchen drain cleaned and contacted Mock Plumbing late Wednesday. Brandon arrived Thursday morning and quickly diagnosed the problem with our backed up drain. He removed the clog and charged us the price of a service call and was pleased to apply a 10% discount for using Angie's List. I'd recommend them highly.

Thursday 7/12 - spoke to Chris by telephone about a job we would like to have done at our residence. Chris explained that he would not be able to get out to give me an estimate until Monday or Tuesday of the following week. Was not a problem since I wasn't in a hurry to get the work done. Chris told me he would call me on Monday 7/16 about a time for him to come out and give an estimate. Monday 7/16 - no call from Chris. Still not really a big deal. I decide to call and follow up. Left voice message letting him know I'd be home all day and he could either come by or call me to let me know when he would be able to. Tuesday 7/17 - no call from Chris, so I figure I'd wait a few more days before I got too worked up about it. Monday 7/26 - today - still have not heard from Chris or ANYONE from Mock Plumbing. Instead of bothering him with a phone call, I thought I'd send this note to thank him for wasting my time. If you don't want to do the work, TELL PEOPLE THAT. I will never understand why that is so hard for contractors and repairmen.

Upon arrival we talked a bit about what was going on with the drain. Unclogged the drain...showed me what he was able to extract from the drain. Talked to me about what might be going on...possible broken pipe...explained to me what would be involved in correcting a broken pipe. Spoke to my husband by phone and answered his questions.

I had Mock plumbing replace a drain line at my house. This involved several men and some heavy equipment. Chris explained the work he was going to do, and then he and his team came in and did what he said they were going to do, they did it correctly, and they did it quickly. The price they charged was fair. Also, they went above and beyond in cleaning up their mess at the end of the job. I've used lots of contractors for my personal home as well as my rent houses, and I have to say that Mock Plumbing is one of the best contractors I've worked with. They provided stellar service and I will definitely call them again next time I need plumbing work done. Be aware, though, that these guys appear to be very busy and it took me some time to get in touch with them, tell them about my problem, and actually get them to my house to look over the problem and get a quote back to me (about 7 days). In my experience the really good contractors are always busy, so I was okay with waiting (and my situation wasn't an emergency). If you're the really impatient type, though, you may want to look elsewhere.

I had a plumbing issue on a Sunday, and they came first thing Monday morning. They promptly fixed the problem we had. We also had another plumbing issue that other plumbers told us it couldn't be fixed without knocking down walls. Mock plumbing addressed that problem and had to cut into the wall, and stayed until it was completely finished. They did a beautiful job, and cleaned up so well they took our shower head that we wanted to keep. We did eventually get the shower head back from them. I have recommended them to other people.

I found him on Angie’s List, and he had a very high rating. I called him, and I told him what I wanted him to do, and he gave me a price. I called him a couple of days later and asked him if he could come out and check what I have, and what would need to be replaced. I also asked him if there would be any service charge for him to come out, and he quoted a price. After I got off the phone, I checked the notes he had given me over the phone, and I noticed that he had given me two different prices. I called him back, but he was out on a job, and he couldn’t hear me well. I asked him why he had given me two different prices just two days apart, and he said that he couldn’t hear me well and that he would call me back. He never called me back, so I called and left messages three or four days in a row, but there was no response at all. I was really upset about that. I called another guy, and he said that he would be here the next Tuesday. On that day, my husband and I were waiting for him, and he didn’t show up. I called him to find out what had happened, and he said that he hadn’t noted down my address when he spoke to me because he was on a job. So I had called two people in a row, both were highly rated, and both were bad. About a month later, I was putting up a sprinkler in my yard, when I saw Mock Plumbing pull up next door in my neighbor’s driveway. I walked over to him, and I told him the story, and asked him why he never got back to me. He said that he was running late on that job in my neighbor’s house, and that he would stop over at my house when he finished the job in about an hour and a half. He came over after about two hours and told me that his dog was sick, that he had to take it to the vet, and that he would call me. He took my cellphone number, the house phone number, and we haven’t heard from him again.
