Overall it was horrible. The lights have already burnt out, within 3 months. There are a couple of lights installed in the trees which are supposed to shine on the house. She had to run wires up the trees to do this, within a few months they were hanging from the trees. She came back to rehang the wires, and charged us for that. She also charged us to change the lightbulbs, which she did not have at the time. 3 months later she did not return like she said she would. When I did get ahold of her she told me I did not pay for the service when I did. While she was installing the lights, she noticed my sprinkler system backup valve was rusted, she said her crew could fix that. She charged me for that. The next day I had water flying out of the backup valve. She balmed it on her crew using faulty glue. After it was repaired, the valve blew out again two months later. She balmed that on the cold weather.
Description of Work: She installed landscape lights around my house.

Response from JT Gardens
The client was as pleased as they could be about the installation of the lighting. When the PVB/backflow was repaired because it was falling apart and the poppit inside was broken from the freeze. It did come unglued where my crew had installed the new one. That would be the only way it could come apart is if the glue were faulty or not enough was used. I took responsibility for it and fixed it. we also replaced his insulation that was deterioration for free. we do not normally have freeze's in Houston Texas that freeze the backflows. I am a licensed inspector of backflows and had repaired several that year. Unfortunately we did have another freeze at the end of 2010. I told the Raggettes when the first one was repaired how to protect the device from freezing when I did the original repair. They obviously did not remember to take the steps to protect the device. when I was called back 9 mos later it was because they did not know how to program there timer. I programed there timer and spent 30 minutes explaining what could be done to improve there yard and again how to protect from the freeze. I re attached the wire where the clips were existing. There were no bulbs burnt out except the one on the tree. I told the wife that I did not have one with me but would bring one by when they wanted the PVB repaired. When Mr Ragette called me he proceeded to raise his voice and as a female I was quite surprised and made clear to him that it was uncalled for. He had not called me for the repair of the PVB (I have no control over freezing weather) so I had not come with the bulb. I told him exactly where to get one and told him that the wires are supposed to come off in big winds they might because we do not want the tree bark to grow into them. it is bad for the tree and impossible to remove the wire from the tree leaving a rather ugly wire sticking out from the tree. I charged him for the service call and have now given him a free bulb to replace the one that is out. I have many customers in the Pearland area that are repeat customers and I have never had a complaint of this nature. thank you for your time.
