+ -1 moreI have used the company a few times. I was not at the home while they did the service. She mentioned the technicians were very professional and polite. I had no problem scheduling the service for her and they did a great job.
Description of Work: I hired the company to repair the garage door. They also replace the door opener. They did the work at my mother in law's.

Description of Work: Jerry, the owner, set an appointment for 11/16/13 between 10-12 after finishing a golf game. Left my info behind when he went home. I had to track him down when he didn't call or show up. Said he couldn't come out that day after all. Said he would come whenever it was convenient for me. So I chose 11/18/13 between 12-2. He called around 12:45 to say it wouldn't be until around 3. I had planned my entire day around this 2nd appointment. I canceled his services as it obviously was NOT of interest to him.

Description of Work: My garage door would neither go up or down and was stuck in mid decent. Garage Doors of Texas arrived promptly, found the problem and explained the cause and remedy. My door was back in operation timely and correct. While at my home the tech. did a thorough review of my garage doors and a couple of minor corrrections as well as lubrication...He indicated to me some wear but, said it did not warrent replacement at this time. My service was done timely, with professional knowledge, And, with a degree of courtesy and care that is rarely given these days.......Very satisified. Undoubtedly, would call them back if another problem surfaces.

+ -1 moreThe original quote was in-line with other bids ($150). My wife told me the representative was rude to her and he told my wife there was additional work that needed to be done. However, he did not give her an explanation of the additional work or a quote for the additional work. The final cost ended up being over $100 more than what was originally quoted. Additionally, the representative told my wife that the safety light is not working and we will have to purchase a new one, when it was working fine before he performed the repair services.
Description of Work: Contracted to replace two tension springs for the garage door.

+ -1 moreGarage Doors of Texas took my call quickly and gave me a price for a solid steel garage door. Their prices were very good and they explained the warranty and advantages of the solid door. The installation was scheduled the next day. The installer showed up on time. He removed the old door and rails, installed the new door and new rails and painted it to match the trim on my garage. He cleaned up all the mess and hauled the old door away. He did a very good job and left the garage in tiptop shape.
Description of Work: Garage Doors of Texas installed a new double garage door and rails to my attached garage at my home in Friendswood.
