Description of Work: WE SELECTED SAMPLES OF SILESTONE FROM THESE FOLKS IN SIZES THAT YOU CANNOT PURCHASE ANYWHERE ELSE. SINCE THEN, WE HAVE PURCHASED 4' SQUARES FOR USE IN THE BACKSPLASH OF OUR KITCHEN.

THIS HAS BEEN AN EXPERIENCE OF ''YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP.'' I PLACED THE ORDER IN MID-FEBRUARY WITH A PROMISED DELIVERY DATE OF 3-5 WEEKS. AFTER UNBELIEVABLY POOR COMMUNICATION; MULTIPLE (FALSE) REPORTS THAT THE TOP HAD SHIPPED; ONE RECEIVED SHIPMENT OF A POORLY PACKED AND, HENCE, CRACKED VANITY; AND A PLETHORA OF EXCUSES, THE VANITY TOP ARRIVED 11 WEEKS LATER. TWO DAYS LATER UPS DELIVERED A SECOND, IDENTICAL VANITY TOP! I WAS OFFERED 4 SILESTONE DRINK COASTERS AS COMPENSATION FOR THE TROUBLES. I STILL DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS A SILESTONE PRODUCT ISSUE OR AN E-COUNTERS SERVICE ISSUE. I HAVE EMAILED SILESTONE AND E-COUNTERS ASKING FOR A MANAGER TO CONTACT ME, BUT HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE FROM ANYBODY. THE VANITY TOP LOOKS NICE, BUT IT WASN'T WORTH THE TROUBLE. MY PLUMBER WAS SERIOUSLY DELAYED IN FINISHING MY PROJECT AND I HAD UNUSABLE SINK PLUMBING FOR 2+ MONTHS, TOO.

THE EXPERIENCE THAT SHE HAD WITH HER ORDER WITH E-COUNTERS.COM WAS UNDENIABLY A BAD ONE, AND THIS WAS AN ORDER WHERE THERE WERE DELAYS IN GETTING THE PRODUCT SHE ORDERED TO HER INTACT. THE PROBLEM WAS MAINLY ONE OF THE FACILITIES WHERE THE VANITY-TOPS ARE SHIPPED FROM, WITH REGARD TO BOTH THE PACKAGING AND THE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS WE HAD IN PLACE AT THE TIME. SINCE THIS ORDER, E-COUNTERS.COM HAS GREATLY IMPROVED OUR PACKAGING AS WELL AS OUR CONTROL OVER THE INFORMATION WE RECIEVE WITH RESPECT TO SHIP DATES AND REMAKES. THE ORDER IN QUESTION HAD AT ONE TIME A REPLACEMENT SPLASH NEEDED (WHEN ANY OF THESE ITEMS, WHETHER IT BE A COUNTERTOP OR A BACKSPLASH, ARRIVES DAMAGED E-COUNTERS SENDS A REPLACEMENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE) AND DUE TO AN OVERSIGHT AN ENTIRE NEW COUNTER WAS SHIPPED INSTEAD OF JUST THE SPLASH. E-COUNTERS.COM DID EVENTUALLY GET THE CUSTOMER WHAT SHE ORDERED, INTACT, AND WE ALSO SENT HER SOME COASTERS AS A GESTURE OF OUR APPRECIATION FOR HER PATIENCE THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS. WE ARE HAPPY TO SAY THAT OUR SERVICE HAS GREATLY IMPROVED SINCE LAST YEAR, BUT WE DO SINCRERELY REGRET ANY DELAYS OUR CUSTOMERS (SUCH AS THIS MEMBER)ENCOUNTER.
