Ark Pool Services

There were many things, I am just going to list them. 1) Plaster wasn't as dark as we wanted and discolored because he put the salt in right after filling the pool. 2) Salt filter was set up wrong, I had to research it myself and put the correct setting in the system. 3) Tile job was not even, tile guy didn't even try to hide mistakes in the traps, Some tiles are off and uneven. He didn't tile the spa like we discussed. 4) There was a tree beside the pool which was taken down and the mess was never cleared. 5) Pool was never stabilized after set up which was discussed. 6) Painted coping, paint was sprayed over the grass in the cracks and wasn't repaired as discussed. Point on edge was supposed to be built up and painted, never done. 7)Tile persons son cussed me out in Spanish when we told him the tile was wrong. Had to kick him off property. Tile guy was brought back in to discuss the issues and left saying that he wasn't going to take care of anything. There are several other things that were wrong and just bad business. Owner Leo Maldonado just got tired of dealing with the problems and disappeared we paid most of the money throughout the process but didn't have enough left over to fix the problems. I would not use him to clean or fix anything it was a bad experience all around. He just ignores the call now not even responding. Whole process was criminal.

Leo is very personable and is quick to respond to emails and phone calls. However, what he says he will do and what he actually does are two different things. We gave him the benefit of the doubt on many occasions after the tenants complained about his services. However, the quality of his services were bad. The pool and hot tub were never cleaned to the tenants satisfaction, pool cleaner was left out of the pool on a regular basis (many times even unassembled), we even found the cleaner in the pool without a bag, the hose to fill the pool would be left out and on one occasion even left running when the tenant was out of town, walls in the pool and hot tub would be dirty and slimy, valves would be left turned off after cleaning that would interfere with the automatic cleaning of the pool. He would charge us for services and/or repairs that were not approved by us. The list goes on and on. However, Leo was always quick to return my calls and would say he would be there to fix it the next day. However, as time went by we learned that he did not return to the property the next day and he did not fix the problem he said he would fix. At the end, we could no longer keep a blind eye to his empty promises and had to terminate his services. For good quality pool services that are consistent, go somewhere else. On top of everything, his invoices are poorly written and often with the wrong rates and with services already performed and paid for double charged. A landlord's worst nightmare in other words!

.pool was not clean the whole time. chemicals were off and turned green which just does not happen with salt pools. doubted that anything was actually done. finally after many failed appearances, I just fixed the chemicals myself and forgot trying to have someone else take over this responsibility. he called while I was out of town, I explained this and told him when I would be back. He missed the appointment completely but called several weeks later when I was out of town again. Made another appointment which he failed to keep. too frustrating.

I found them on the Angie's List website and asked for an estimate. He actually called me a couple hours later and called me from home and came out and gave me an estimate. He looked at what was going to be needed. I'm guessing his price was extrememly good, but I don't know for sure.

He did a very good job. He was very nice and pleasent. He was very prompt, professional, and effecient. It took him less than a day to complete the work. I would recommend his services to anyone.

Great company. Does a great job. Pool is clean when they leave. They focus on little details. You are lucky if you are a client because they focus on customer service since the owners do the work.
