The refrigerator over time had stopped cooling. It was also making loud noises too. We contacted AMS because they had done other work for us. It's always Mike that comes by. He went right to work when he arrived and somehow knew exactly what the issue was and fixed it. He had to unload everything in the freezer and he did it with care and after fixing up the fridge he put things back in an optimal and organized fashion. He explained everything after doing the job. Interestingly after the repairs I noticed my water bill dropped 15 bucks a month and the awful noise also went down significantly. One thing I will share is that there is no estimate or negotiation involved. If you report an issue, Mike will come quickly, diagnose the issue, and if he has the parts will get to work and fix. Then he'll write down the amount and you pay. That's how it works. So far he has never overcharged us and his knowledge is top notch. He knows the appliances I have very well and provides very good explanations of issues and good advice on maintenance. I will likely use him for future issues.

Mike responded to the call and checked the freezer. He noted that the motherboard was probably beginning to become unreliable but that it still had enough life in it that it did not need to be replaced at this time. He provided an excellent explanation of the issue. Will be calling when the freezer does fail. Did not charge for service call.
