Ampro would not give me a firm price, even though I told them the dealer said he would install for $285. After the work was done, with no hang ups or problems, a bill for $726 was left on my front porch, presumably to prevent a mail fraud charge. Sent dozens of texts, as well as dozens of telephone calls to the contractor representative to attempt to resolve what I considered to be a gross over charge in one of the two categories. All calls and texts were ignored. Received a phone call from the owner 5 days after the bill was left on my porch, demanding payment and threatening to file a lien on my house. Would not listen to my concerns on the overcharge, talked over me, would not listen, and finally he hung up on me. After no response to my calls to Ampro, I finally called the subcontractor, calmly discussed the overcharges, and he agreed to take 1/3 off his bill.

He was very helpful. He answered a lot of questions about what steps to take. He was very knowledgeable about the process. He was very grateful and willing to take some time with me on the phone. I will definitely consider him when it's time.

Fine. They thought that there were foundation issues and did not want to do repairs that would not last over time.

The entire team listened to our requests and provided positive input. The owner told me in the beginning, he wanted to treat our rebuild as if it were his own home. I feel as if he truly meant it. Great work by Myles and crew.

I use AmPro Construction Services, Inc. and I'm very happy with their services. The owner came out to the house. He was the first one involved and he's a very generous person. They're good people to be with. They do quality work.

The workers were day labors not employees of the company so the work was not of the best quality. The first day they put drop cloths down, after that they came in with mud and grease on the shoes. They gutted the small bathroom down to the studs. They had charged to take the firdown down but then put it back up,"saying that they couldn't do the moving of the pipes" We had to get and pay someone else to move the plumbing and refix the electrical because it had already melted together. When putting the tile up the 1st time they started with 3" height at the corner and by the time they got to the back wall it was 1" in height. When they put the cutout for the soaps they were not straight and were tilted toward the wall so it would drained towards the wall. I had requested when they came out to give a bid for the grout lines to be 1/8" they are 1/2" between the tile. The tub was tilted so far towards the back wall and not lelveled that the water would drain into the wall. If it were not for a friend all of that I would of left alone because I trust contractors to be honest. I ended up asking them to leave and went ahead and paid them the last payment with a note to the owners suggesting that they should pay me for work that was not up to par but never heard from them again. I had to get some one else to finish the bathroom and went to Home Depot to get the countertop since they were going to put the cheepest graniet in for the countertop. I will have to replace the carpet have tried a perfessional carpet cleaners and they cannot get the soiled carpet clean.
