Deane Electric & Air Conditioning

Things went well/better than i expected. Technician diagnosed quickly that one of the circuit breakers on the outside panel was bad and replaced with a new 20 amp breaker. Was pleased not only with the outcome, but was also impressed with the technicians professionalism and willingness to to explain things honestly with tips & advice to avoid future problems as well as possibly upgrading equipment (circuit breakers/panel) in the distant future to avoid problems without being pushy to make a sale. Enjoyed the whole process from start to finish with absolutely no complains whatsoever! Good JOB! Mr. Mike! Thanks a million!

Great! They did an excellent job and everything is working great. There was a small hiccup regarding balancing of the air flow after the initial install,but they came out on a weekend to correct it and we have not had a problem since.

I requested service through American Home Shield on Sunday. I did not get a call from Deane until Tuesday. My appointment was set to be Wednesday. I would like them to call me sooner to set up appointment. I was glad that the team arrived during the appointment time frame. I appreciated that they called me ahead of time to notify me of their arrival so that I had time to secure my pets. At first, the techs said the thermostat was broken, so they replaced it. The A/C worked for a few minutes and then stopped cooling again. The technicians then found out the condenser motor was broken as well. They contacted AHS and got approved to replace the motor. The owner, Mr. Deane, came out later to supervise his technicians and he was very friendly. His crew were professional overall. Since AHS covered the parts, I only paid the service call. Mr. Deane said normally this job would be about $485. It would be nice that AHS will continue to assign Deane's company for my future A/C service needs.

Very fast response time. He is my go to guy, the one I call first.

The work was completed within a couple of days. I have used him numerous times before. He is the first vendor I'll call for most jobs and I use him on a regular basis.

We do work back and forth, he's very highly qualified. They're top of the line.

The staff is professional. They're very professional.

They do our yearly check on service. The workers are great.

It went very poorly. They used entirely different light switches from what was previously used. They were large and were the wrong color, mismatched. The light switches still didn't work after they came out so we had to call another company to do the work. Deane said that they were too busy to fix such a "trivial problem" and refused to come out. They told us to find a new contractor. They also broke a light in the dining room and refused to fix that by denying responsibility.

It was great. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He detected and corrected several possible future problems. They are a good local company that doesn't price gouge you as several past companies have done.

It went well. Pricing was competitive, professional service and everything went as expected. I have no complaints.

I got estimates from several providers and not only was Deane's price the best, but the service was great, he was on-time, and he was very responsive to all my questions before, during, and after the installation. He talked to me in plain english and helped me understand what I should be looking for in a system. He actually talked me out of a more expensive system that I had my eye on because he said the increase in cost probably wouldn't offset the savings in a reasonable period of time. His workers were polite and prompt and had the installation done within about half a day. This service was for the complete removal of the old system and installation of a new system which was a 14 SEER 3.5 ton american standard unit. I am happy to highly recommend him.

Called 9/22/2015 at around 4pm because our air conditioning unit was pushing out warm air. They got us in 9/23/2015 at 10am. He was here maybe 20 minutes and everything was up and working and we are now in a nice cool home. : )

I called early in the morning and they were able to schedule an appointment the same day. I was given a precise appointment time and the technician was on time. He did a complete inspection and found a problem with the compressor. The Inspection was done on a home that I am purchasing and they found out that the compressor was still under warranty. The technician was friendly and professional. I was very happy with the inspection service and would recommend this company to anyone.

Called first thing in the morning after holiday weekend. Asked for a quote, was asked some diagnostic questions and received the quote. Technician (Miso I think?) arrived when agreed upon and gave a courtesy call when he was on his way. It was the exact price as quoted and a better price than several I got quotes from. Definitely would call again.

We were told the cleaning cost would be $350 over the phone. But once the technician got into the unit he wasn't able to pull everything out (because of the way it was installed) and also he could see that it was just mildly dirty. So in the end we were charged $150 for the cleaning of the coils. The A/C unit isn't blowing out dust like it was previous to the cleaning.

We had constant problems with our old units and poor service. We were taken advantage of because of our age (in our 80's). Deane Electric was very professional and fair. Our new units were installed in a day and a half which we felt was very quick for the amount of work needed to be done. It was very hot out and the a/c worked great. Some time has passed and we are now using the furnace and are happily cozy and warm. We highly recommend Deane Electric!

Yesterday late in the evening I emailed Deane Electric/Air Conditioning through Angie's List and received a response to contact the dispatcher in the morning in order to have someone come look at my AC. Called the dispatcher as soon as they opened at 08.30 am and had a technician at my house by 10.20 am. The technician was very professional and also very timely. He discovered and repaired the problem within 30 minutes. He also continued to provide me with updates on the costs as he was working. This was a great service call and I will definitely be keeping Deane Electric/Air Conditioning as my go-to business for any HVAC issues we may have in the future.

After going thru Angies List to set up a day to come out.

I originally called Deane electric and was told that they were busy, but could fit me in two days from then. After waiting two days, I had to call the service office because the technician never showed up. After I called the office the technician arrived within the hour. He arrived in a regular truck, not the normal truck with the Deane Logo on the outside so I was not sure if he was actually affiliated with them. He diagnosed the problem with my A/C, however he told me I was going to have to replace my entire A/C system (inside and outside) at a rough estimate of $3,600. After I paid him for his time, he had the office send me an email estimate of what the entire system replacement would cost, complete with taxes and labor ($3,600). I chose not to get a whole new A/C system with Deane, and instead found a company that replaced just the broken outside A/C unit. This only ran me $1,500 instead of the $3,600.

Due to a mix up on the date scheduled, provider gave us a discount on the service call. This provider also provides a coupon toward the first unit of coolant. Very nice and informative. Will definitely use them again.

great experience service person was very helpful, listened and spoke to me , not at me. I know who to call for electrical issues.

They were great! They came out and did what they were supposed to do. They gave us all kind of pointers and advice on what we needed to do to maintain the system. You really can't ask for much more as a customer. Their advice has been pretty solid because we followed and we haven't had any trouble out of the unit so far and it's an older unit. We had an insurance through Liberty Insurance and they took care of it for us.

My AC was acting funny. When I called the owner prompty called me back and assured me he would have someone out the next morning at 8am. 7:57 the next morning his service tech called me to let me know he was on the way. He was prompt, polite and to the point about explaining what he was going to do and why. (my dogs like him too) Once he figured out what the problem was he contacted the office to find the part. He even established that the part was under warranty before I even asked saving me about $150. Cleaned up his tools and mess and said the part was in Killeen and he would be back between 4:30 & 5 to complete the repair. He was again very prompt. Repair was completed and he even washed off the coils of the outside unit for me while it was open so I would not have to worry about it. AC worked like a champ last night! I am going to buy a service plan from them in the next few weeks. They 100% live upto all their reviews.
