We ended up using another service we used before. He was fine.

Excellent work. We had been diagnosed with a faulty AC compressor and proposed to replace both unit and furnace. Sun Air came and diagnosed a faulty capacitor. Unit was OK and did not required replacement. They diagnosed properly the issues with our system and fixed what needed to. Very honest approach! They came rapidly and followed up with their work. Excellent company and service.

Besides the checkup (and spotting a piece of insulation that was blocking the drain), I got some good advice on what to expect from a buyer's house inspector and how to reply to the almost inevitable claims of issues they'll come up with.

Extremely easy to communicate, pay, and good work. I'll certainly use them again.

My air conditioner was not working when I got home from work. I called several AC companies and all replied they could not make it that night. I called Sun and was told they would not be able to arrive that night but could schedule between 10 and 12am the next morning. Lupe was on my doorstep right at 11. He asked me to describe what I knew about the problem and then proceeded with his own testing. First he verified the thermostat was operating correctly. Then he went into the attic to check out the situation. In a few minutes he came down and started checking the wiring in the compressor. I asked what he had found and he said it was a short in the thermostat cable to the condenser. As I watched him, I could tell that he was being thorough and knew precisely what he was doing. After checking the unit and verifying that all was in order, he explained what he had done and that due to the age of the cable the problem might re-occur. I decided not to replace the cable at this time. He was on site for less than an hour, was very courteous and careful not to leave a mess. He explained what he had done and what my options were and what he recommended, but left me the choice without any pressure to do any extra work. My AC is working, and all it cost was $89 for the service call! (And I forgot to ask for the Angie's List discount!)

They were great. I would give them the highest rating. It was very hot, the air conditioner went out and he came on a Sunday. He went to his warehouse and he tried to find a part to make it work. He put a part in and in the meantime he ordered and he didn't charge me extra for coming out on a Sunday or on a holiday. He just wanted me to get through the weekend until they could replace the air conditioner and then he came out and they replaced the air conditioner and he let me pay it in installments for a year without charging interest. They were wonderful, they were great and the air conditioner has worked perfectly ever since. The customer service was just wonderful. I had a great experience. I would highly recommend them.

Great. Nice tech, punctual (early, even). Checked the unit in the attic, checked and cleaned the outside unit.

The service we have received from SUN Air conditioning and Heating has been outstanding. We own our home for 19 years and had to replace both air-conditioners in 2012. At that time I was already impressed by the excellent Service we received from SUN Air-condition and Heating. We have not had any issues but I noticed last night we did not get any heating upstairs. Called this morning at 8:15 AM, at 9 AM the Service Technician was here, identified the problem, fixed it and everything is working well again. This is wonderful as I had an appointment this morning for 11 AM that I could not break. Excellent Service. Very pleased. I also have to say how I appreciate the friendliness of the staff in the office and the technicians. Very professional and a pleasure to work with.

I have called and left this company 2 voice mails and they have never returned my call to schedule this. I am going to find a new company. I don't understand why they wouldn't call me back.

They had to replace the capacitor and their price was $100 cheapers then the previous time we had to have this done on another unit. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Service was excellent. Imagine no air around a holiday. Sun Air Representative came out day after Memorial Day during a distress call after another company came out the day before without fixing the problem. The service representative took time to identify the problem and actually spoke to the other company when they call during his visit. I got professional service all around during the distress call and installation of the new air conditioner. Great job. I am making Sun Air my preferred HVAC service provider!

replaced bad part that manufacturer covered but they did not cover labor which was more that the part.

It went very well. They were super professional. I had a dead animal in the attic shortly after they came. I called them to see if they saw it and the office manager confirmed with the technician that he didn't see anything. They apologized that they didn't see it. They went above and beyond.

It was fine. He was very prompt. I have no complaints.

I used an Angie's List special for $69 for an AC checkup. The tech went through the entire system, cleaned the outside coils. Everything was fine with the system. The tech said it was an old unit (1992) and could go out at any time. Provided me with several options for a replacement unit in case the AC eventually goes out. Sun AC is a very honest and reliable company and I would definitely use them again.

Purchased a deal for A/C maintenance check and was able to schedule an appointment fairly quickly. Did a full service check of A/C unit and no issues found. Was satisfied with the service and deal purchased.

Don Teaque was knowledgeable and thorough. He answered all of my husband's questions and gave us ways to use our ceiling fans to conserve energy. We would definitely call Sun AC & Heating again and will request Don.

I call Sun Air Conditioning & Heating because one of my AC units was not cooling. He checked both units outside and up in the attic. He informed me that the 2.5 ton evaporator coil unit up in the attic was leaking and would need to be replaced at a cost of 900 + dollars and they would call me later to set up a date to confirm the installation. The following Monday Bill Anderson Air Conditioning showed up at my neighbors. I asked him to come over and provide a 2nd estimate when he was done. He inspected both units outside and upstairs and informed me the units upstairs were in excellent condition just like they came new out of the box. Together we both checked the units outside and he showed me where the leak was on the coil outside using a gas detection meter and visible oil leak. Had I not asked for a 2nd opinion I would have replaced a perfectly working coil for 900 + dollars and soon after would have had to replace the coil unit outside that was actually leaking. I called Sun Air conditioning and explained everything and they offered the excuse that his gas detection equipment may not have been calibrated. I work with gas testing equipment and we calibrate them regularly. Based on my experience using gas testing equipment, there are step to follow that would indicate the equipment was not working properly. I have worked 35 year as QA / Building inspector and fully understand building construction and testing procedures. It is my opinion that they were not being honest and trying to charge me for something that did not need to be replaced. I would recommend never using this company and always get a second opinion.
