Star Tech Roofing and Remodeling

Quite well--pleased with outcome. This was a complex job, three-story mansard-roofed townhome with lots of detail in the mansards (multiple dormers) and limited ladder access. Richard Martinez, the owner, handles sales, communications, and job-site coordination. He is personable, dead-aim honest, and professes high standards. Communication is the weak suit, as everything goes through his cell phones and it can take a while to get responses. My four estimates covered a 2-fold range, and his was fair and competitive. The job took longer than projected (two days plus a QA check by Richard). This was a pro-active, out-of-pocket property upgrade that I spent a long time on. I'm glad that the job is finished, glad that I hired StarTech. We have not yet had any heavy rains, but I look forward to years of tight and dry service.

I have a small, one-level home. Startech (Richard Martinez) repaired a leak and replaced missing shingles.. Richard was able to show me from the ground where some of the replaced shingles were installed. Will have to wait for the next heavy rain to see if the leak repair was successful. I really appreciated Richard's professionalism. Also appreciated that his company information was clearly displayed on his truck and, on his initial visit, he promptly provided his business and identification cards. He responded in a very timely manner to my request for a quote and performed the work within a few days of providing the quote. After giving me an assessment of the overall condition of my roof, I requested another quote (in detail) for more major repairs he recommended. I've yet to receive that quote.

Came home to find a hole in the bedroom ceiling on a Friday night. It was a holiday weekend and I had to be away from home Saturday afternoon . I called around 9:30 Saturday morning and Richard said he wold be there before noon as soon as he completed his first call, He arrived as promised and completed repairs in time for my afternoon appointment. The plywood as well as the shingles had to be replaced. He also repaired flashing that was in need of caulk on other places on the roofing and replaced a vent. I was relieved to have this work done in such a timely manner. He is very pleasant and professional,

We hired Richard Martinez after we had some damage to our roof from Hurricane Harvey. He came out to quote and sent us the quote very quickly. He was always very responsive, unlike many of the other roof contractors we spoke with. He and his team completed the work quickly, and came back on a Sunday to finish the job. His solution was well thought out and cost effective. We would definitely recommend his services and you can't beat his warranty, which was much longer than most others we spoke to.

After we made the decision to move forward with StarTech, they scheduled my replacement for the following week. The results were great. I received upgraded materials (Architectural shingles with limited lifetime warranty, synthetic underlayment, and 6 nails per shingle instead of the standard 4) The roof looks great. We did have one small issue I found the next day, and when I called StarTech about it, they were at my door within 2 hours to resolve.

It went well. I called them on Tuesday they came Wednesday and within a hour it was done. No diagnostic fee and week or two of lead time like other places I called. It was quick easy and painless. I would definitely reccommend them and use them again.

The Replacement went well. Roof completed in two days and the neighbors have been admiring the great work.

While hiring Star Tech I wasn't exactly sure what repairs were needed on my roof? I spoke with Mr. Rick Martinez who was very professional and accommodating. He was able to give me an estimate on my roof and guaranteed the maintenance on all repairs. They were very helpful and attentive without any hassle. I will defiantly call Star Tech for any future repairs needed.

Repaired three areas of leaky roofing on my one story house. Left message on the vendors business voicemail. Vendor returned the call shortly thereafter, and proceed to scheduled an appointment to visit my home the same day. Vendor inspected the roof and provide a price quote for repairs. The vendor reported with a 2-man crew on the following day as scheduled and repaired the roof. The vendor provided a 6-month warranty on the repair. To date, there is no further evidence of leaks. The vendor was friendly, and the pricing seemed fair.
