Description of Work: reseal a couple of vents is what I had him over for; he also walked the roof, looking for loose nails and other issues; cleaned out dryer vent and pointed out some things I should do myself.

+ -1 moreThe only thing I have to complain about is Paul is hard to get in touch with and hard to get to come out. I think that's because he has so much work, and does it all himself. The guy knows what he's doing and does an excellent job. I had him out for one problem, and he found several other issues, and fixed them all. Prices were reasonable, especially considering this guy is such a pro at what he does.

Description of Work: He got up on my roof and he patched several areas that were in need of repair and he charged me a very fair price. He also made sure to tell me that I have a 30 year roof. He's very honest. He said if I may have called someone else that they would have told me that I could probably need a new roof, but he was sure to tell me the truth and don't let anyone tell me I need a new roof, just need it patched every now and then. We had a big storm come through after he left and my leaky roof did not leak. He also cleared out all of my gutters while he was up there. I was also having a problem with my air conditioner that had leaked through in the attic and so he went ahead and cleaned the plumbing vents. Everything is in pristine shape.

+ -1 moreIf our neighbor's roof hadn't looked so good we wouldn't have wasted 2 months on this guy. Oh wait phone is ringing, maybe it's Mr. Gollub on his way over!!!!
Description of Work: We had roof damage from Hurricane Ike. Mr. Gollub was recommended by a neighbor. Basically, our "relationship" started with Mr. Gollub saying our roof was fine. Ten minutes later adjuster arrived and said entire roof needed to be replaced. I was a little concerned by this, but I looked across the street at our neighbor's beautiful roof and rationalized this little discrepancy away. So we proceeded to call him 15 times or more to come back and give us a complete estimate. You can't leave a message on his phone because he can't work his voice mail. However, he can use his caller ID to return calls. Alas, he never returned our calls. The 2 times he actually answered he said he would come and give the estimate in the next few days. This went on for 2 months. Officially we are still waiting, but another roofer will be doing the work.

+ -1 moreIt took a while to get him out (about 3 calls) because he is so busy, being one of the few people capable of working on these old roofs. He worked for about 1.5 hrs and mentioned a 1 year warranty and that it may take 3 calls to fix all leaks. He sealed about 5 of 10 leaks the first time out, and I am pending his 2nd call out to fix the remaining leaks.
Description of Work: After the hurricane Ike, I lost several shingles (asbestos cement tiles) and had leaks near many vents. He sealed up the vents and replaced some shingles.
