+ -1 moreOn Tuesday, 4-8-08, a technician arrived early in the morning to strip and prep the sink for resurfacing. A second tech came about 4 hours later (the first man was still here) to actually spray the surface. This second tech returned on Wednesday to buff the surface, remove all material that had been used to protect and cover the surrounding area, and to provide care and maintenance instructions.
Description of Work: We had the sink in our master bathroom refinished; it is the original sink in a 40+ year old house. This had been done once before by another company (whose name I can't recall) about 7 years ago. I had selected this first company from the Yellow Pages; however, rust and pitting had developed around the fixtures and the drain. The sink looked terrible and was an embarrassment; resurfacing was required once again. For this recent work, I referred to Angie's List (I signed up two years ago) to make sure I obtained a company that had a proven track record. To insure I would not have problems in the future, I removed the fixtures and the drain from the sink so that the entire area could be worked upon without obstruction.

+ 3 moreEveryone I dealt with at the company was extremely professional. Jonee came out and gave a quote and the work was started a week and a half later. My house was built in 1952 and the previous owner had the tile refinished in some type of epoxy - it looked awful. Miracle Method stripped the old epoxy off and refinished all the tile in the bathroom. The job took a little longer than expected because of the difficulty in stripping the old finish, but I couldn't be happier with the end result. This is a great way to update a bathroom without spending an enormous amount of money.

+ -1 moreI would highly recommend this company. From start to finish they were very professional. I called Joanee on a Monday and we were able to set up service for later that week. She actually moved some things around to fit my schedule. Ishmael was extremely punctual and professional. He did a great job protecting the tile and floor around the tub (all recently installed travertine). He also brought an almond grout color which he chose based on the tile color. Overall, I was very happy with the quality of the work.
Description of Work: They stripped down the bathtub from a botched refinishing try from a previous contractor. They refinished the tub.

+ -1 moreThey were fantastic. Jonee Barnett (owner) was very helpful. She explained the process in great detail. She suggested that we do the tubs on different days as they would have to be kept dry for 24 hours after the refinish. As I had tenants in the house, this was very helpful. Patrick (technician) showed up on time and was an extremely pleasant person. He explained that the tub needed some extra TLC which Jonee had told me to expect because the tubs were in such bad shape. Patrick cleaned up after himself and was very courteous. He arrived as planned on all 3 days. My tenant called me to ask why I decided to put in a NEW tub. He thought the tub was brand new. The refinish job was really, really good.
Description of Work: They refinished 2 bathtubs in my rental property. The tubs were probably about 10-15 years old and really grungy.

+ -1 moreOver all, the job was great. He came out two times to try and fix the job and was very helpful and informative.
Description of Work: I had an old custom tub that was cracked and in bad shape. Jonee came out and looked at the tub and thought they could do the work. Paul came and did the work himself and it was beautiful. A few months later, the tub cracked, again. Paul came out and looked at it and suggested we have someone come out and see if they could shore up the tub. We finally got that done or so we thought. Paul came out to fix it, however, the handyman had not done a good job. So we had to call them back and have them come and fix it, right. Paul came back and repaired the tub and it looks great.

+ 0 moreMiracle Method did an excellent job in refinishing our shower floor. The workers were punctual, courteous, clean, polite and the quality of their work was outstanding. While work was going on we never felt disturbed in our own home. The job was exactly performed as had been discussed beforehand.
Description of Work: Tiled shower bottom was stained and unsightly. Miracle Method cleaned, re-caulked, and refinished shower bottom. Before work started the entire bathroom was covered in plastic for protection. They also used a ventilation system to funnel the vapors from the spray paint out the window.

It was a pleasant experience to be able to talk to someone instead of never getting hold of anyone and no one calling back from other companies. They are very professional.

+ 0 moreThe owner came to our house the day we called to give us an estimate as she was already in the neighborhood. We had planned to refinish the bathtubs as well as the tile surrounds, and she very honestly told us our tubs were in great condition and didn't need a complete refinishing, just inexpensive chip repairs. The crew arrived on time and did a great job on both surrounds, they look like we had brand new tile installed for a fraction of the price of new tile. We have hired them to refinish a sink and vanity top as well as the cost is the same as replacing the entire vanity top, with much less work for us.
