Miracle Method of SW Houston

I was building a house and left water in the porcelain covered metal bathtub for months. When I finally let the water out to have the bathroom completed there was a large chip in the wall of the tub. The tile guys said the plumber did it, the plumber said the tile guys did it so I got to pay to repair it. The young man from Miracle Method came out and gave me an estimate. I asked him to proceed with the work. It was great. He explained what he was doing and when he was finished you could not tell where the chip was. He explained not to use the tub for a day or two until it was totally dry. I still can't see the repair. He did a great job.

They did a great job. The estimate process was very smooth. The worker showed up on time and the work was completed over two days as estimated.

In both operations, the technician arrived promptly as scheduled at 8:30 AM. He looked at the sink first to analyze what needed to be dome to restore the surface. We then picked out the best color for the resurface material, so it would match the other sink because my master bathroom has two sinks side by side. One was damaged, but the other wasn't. After I chose the color I wanted to be used in the resurfacing, the technician proceeded to prepare the sinks for resurfacing by sanding them down and then applying the acrylic filler to fill up the cracks. After that was done, the resurfacing process commenced. You will have to look up www.miraclemethod.com to get more details on that process because I'm not totally sure how it's done. When the resurfacing work was completed, the technician told me not to use the sink until he returned the following day to polish the sink. The sink had to dry completely before he returned to polish it. He came back the next day, in the afternoon, since 24 hours needed to pass, before he could polish the sink and restore the faucets and the spout he had removed while working on the resurfacing. When he was finished polishing them, my resurfaced sinks looked great. This process made it possible for me to put my house on the market without having to spend thousands of dollars to install granite counter tops and porcelain sinks. I didn't have the money to do that, but I wanted my bathrooms to look attractive and ready to use. I recommend Miracle Method. They saved me a lot of money.

Paul and his guys were punctual, handled all aspects of the job with out delays. Was a 2 day process so the guys completed the first day in a timely manor and cleaned up after themselves. Second say same as first punctual and completed all aspects timely and couldn't even tell workers had been in bathroom after it was all done. Will recommend them to everyone I know. The slip resistant surface is perfect for use while standing. It is a little rough for the kids sitting down so we use a mat while the boys are small but guests have enjoyed the slip resistant coating.

Very nice from beginning to end. Made my awful looking shower look brand new without a lot of down time and mess. Fair price for all the work they did.

Workers were on time. Had to call back company after initial work due to a few blemishes in the refinishing, but they were prompt in coming to fix it and made it right. The first worker was sloppy and got a clear, hard coating on my sink that I had to remove with a razor blade. Make sure they cover everything in the bathroom with paper.

The end result was good, and the price was much cheaper than new countertops. Also, new countertops would have meant the walls would have been damaged when the old countertops were removed, meaning new ceramic backsplash would have been needed. The Miracle Method is a 3 day process, and the whole area needs to be separated from the rest of the house with dust curtains and ventilated with large fans to keep dust and odors in the kitchen and sent outside. The only problem was that the original finish incorporated a new (for the installers) additive to add reflective and copper highlights (which we had selected), and this additive was defective (not waterproof). So within 6-9 months the tan countertops were getting white from the water damage. The Miracle Method people made good on their 100% guarantee and came back and redid all the surfaces with a new surface coating so the original damaged surface was replaced with a new surface (without the copper highlights), which so far appears perfect and waterproof. Through it all they were very friendly and professional, and in the end we have a brand new look to our kitchen. The B I gave for quality would have been an A if the original surface hadn't been defective. The overall B is because they had to do this twice to get the job right.

It was very pleasant and easy to make an appointment with Jonee for a free in-home estimate of the work we wanted performed. Paul came out to our home to give us our estimate within the appointed time period. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and he answered all of our questions. We decided to have the job done right on the spot, and an appointment for service was confirmed 2 weeks hence. Patrick showed up at our home exactly at the appointed time. Right from the outset he provided a very positive impression. He was very friendly and professional in his demeanor. He went right to work and had everything covered and masked in no time. Patrick was very fast, efficient, thorough, detail-oriented, and professional. Though the job was projected to take 1 and 1/2 days, it took Patrick approximately 7 hours to complete. The finished product looks even better than I had hoped. It was a pleasure working with Miracle Method of SW Houston, and we would certainly utilize their services again. We would also highly recommend them to friends and neighbors.

SERVICE DATES: When I accepted the proposal she scheduled the first and second appointments immediately (2 and 3 days out). MIRACLE METHOD: Does not affect plumbing. Does not use acids. A franchise operation covering USA. WORK: Technician came on time on day 1 and laid down drop cloths before starting work. He put plastic sheeting over all areas that needed protecting. He installed a blower with a 1-foot-diameter air duct that went from bathroom out a window to pull fumes out of the house. Co-owner Paul Barnett came over to inspect a small corroded area, which he showed was caused by a low quality foam gasket installed 13 years ago by the homebuilder. He replaced the defective gasket with a sturdy rubber one. The tech filled in the dime-sized corroded area with fiberglass. Then the tech sprayed the Miracle Method bonding agent and acrylic coating. On day 2 the tech buffed the surface and installed the non-slip coating. At the end, he cleaned up the work area. WARRANTY: 5 years. Expected life 15-20 years according to Jonee. Warranty says to use Scrubbing Bubbles or 409 to clean tub and avoid abrasives and chlorine products. The Barnetts run a well-oiled operation of the highest quality.

I was very impressed by their professionalism, I liked that they provided several samples, and I appreciated that they took the time to answer all of my questions. In addition, they responded quickly to my call and arrived on time for the appointment. Ultimately, we decided to avoid replacing the liner which had nothing to do with Miracle Method.

I wanted to have two bathtubs refinished. They're just pricey. It was a money decision. A thousand dollars is too much to refinish one bathtub. Apparently, it's a wonderful service but it's just too much. It was a fine experience.

They came right away. The repair was perfect you could not notice there was ever a crack in the tub.

Patrick Murray, our resurfacer, was courteous, on time, clean, professional and provided recommendations for future services that his company could provide. He explained everything he was doing and what additional products he would need to complete the job (we needed a couple of plumbing items). My tub looks brand new!

They were very prompt on timing both for providing the estimate and the work. Arrived when they said and their schedule was exactly as they said it would be. The owner came bye a couple of times to check on the project. The only negative was the strong chemicl odor which they warned me about. We closed off other doors, and they ran a huge fan and a very big vent tube to try and minimize the smell. The workers were courteous and very respectful of my property, cleaning up every day (two full days) after their work,. and asking permission to use another restroom, and asking permission to put down a mat on the carpet where they had a fan and other equipment necessary for the job. Good experience and they did a good job of explaining care of the tile and tub after the process. Product has a five year guarantee, and hopefully, we won't have problems. If we have immediate concerns, they will come back and redo or correct. Would definitely recommend them.

I prefer not to disclose the amount that I spent on their services but it was fair. Their service was very good. They were on time and efficient. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and it came out beautiful.

The results were amazing! You cannot tell that it has been refinished.. Looks like a brand new tub! It takes two visits to complete. The first day is about 3 hours, and the second day about an hour. There is an odor the first day, but the smell had disappeared after a few hours. Excellent price... Spectacular results!

Paul explained the process clearly and completely and provided me with some options. I had considered doing more refinishing on the other bathroom sinks but he suggested that they were not really in need of repair. The work was scheduled promptly and the installer did a wonderful job. He was polite and professional and answered my questions without hesitation.

They weere very helpful, coming to my home to estimate the job and show me finishing options. The tech arrived promptly and was finished with all the work in a timely manner. They are very careful about protecting carpeting, walls, etc.

It takes about 2 days to complete the entire process. Make sure you have a fan to help air the room and a convenient window. After completion do not use abrasive cleaners. The technician will make some recommendations
