The contact was signed on 11/19/15 for a patio repair and expansion project, summer kitchen, and electrical and fan installation. The project started initially as a repair on 11/23/15 and then once HOA approval started the contactor started on the expansion. On I payed for the initial 1/3, than 2/3 of the project and then on 12/17/15 I payed 4500 dollars for the staircase that he said was ready and he needed to pay for so he could get it from the vendor and then install it on my property. Since that day the contactor has performed minimal work on the progress. Despite asking for receipt of purchase of staircase, the contactor has yet to bring the staircase or proof of purchase. He also has not brought the necessary supplies to the property to perform the project. On 1/15/16 I sent him a letter of compliant stating that he had 10 business days to finish the project for a deadline of 1/29/16. On 1/29/16 after minimal work was performed the contractor was given 10 days notice of impending termination of the contract due to contractor breach. That deadline is for Feb 12, 2016. As of Feb 6, 2012, with only 6 days left to complete the progress, the contactor has not been out to the property and no significant work has been performed. Electrical work that was performed was not performed by a licensed electrician and the lights to the downstairs patio do not work and I am afraid of starting an electrical fire due to poor quality of work performed. There is pooling of water in the upstairs veranda which left untreated will lead to water seepage issues. I have email, text, copy of checks, and pictures to provide fact to all the statements I have made above. TO CONSUMERS BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR RAMANAND DWARKANAUTH AND HIS COMPANY KUMAR CONSTRUCTION, he is a fraud and his company is a scam. I will attempt to file a class action lawsuit against this individual after the contract is terminated to the full extent of the law!!
Description of Work: Took over 80% of the total price (stating he needed 4500 dollars for the spiral staircase) and has only completed approx. 40% of the project, since then the project has been largely abandoned.
For example, after we paid for the replacement of a AC/Heat unit, he forgot to install the coil for the heat, so this winter we had to call another contractor to have it installed. An many other things. he is good to ask you for money, but the rest is horrible!
Description of Work: We recently bought a house in Est Montrose, me and my wife we had the house inspected, and since was old, there were few issues to bi dressed. Rama, the owned of the company, did a very lousy work, we had to call another contractor and things went very well. If you care about your home, don't refer to him, even if he looks kind and he says that he is certified, he will to a terrible job. i really invite you to chose another contractor
