We build custom hand made Sliding Barn Doors, interior and exterior. We also are distributors of the hardware needed to mount the doors, but we do not install doors. We handle payments via SquareUp or check.
Worst experience in the world!! I went to Rudy to obtain a barn door for my house which he did to a good job with building the door however hanging the door was another issue altogether. I had another company hang the door however since Rudy didn't know what how to hang any door parts of the door had to be created from scratch which caused the company to stay and work longer to get the door hung. I explained this to Rudy and he agreed to pay the extra amount + parts to get the door hung. After everything was said and done he went back on his word and still owes me $244 + $250 for the install workers to come back out to the house for the correct parts!!! Will not return my phone calls and claims he's a good christian man!!

Response from Heavenly Doors
Our prayers are always to please each and every customer. Since we do not install our Doors or hardware, and this is stated up front, hardware is provided as a convenience to our customers , we are not responsible for any modifications that are required to install the door and hardware. The door we built for Mr [Member Name Removed] was extra thick at 3-1/4" (standard thickness is 1-1/2"), and so it was necessary for a header board to be installed which required more time for the installers. After door/header was installed and installers left, Mr [Member Name Removed] took everything down and tried to make a modification himself because the door was rubbing the header board in one spot, which turned out to be because one of the straps was slightly bent in by 1/16", so the modifications he made were unnecessary, plus they voided his installation warranty. We furnished Mr [Member Name Removed] with a modified door guide to accommodate the thickness of the door at no charge also. When Mr [Member Name Removed] had installers return to fix what he had done, he and the contractor got into an argument because he didn't want to pay for their trip back, which would have been free had Mr [Member Name Removed] called them back before trying to modify the hardware himself, thus voiding his warranty. I did agree to make it right with Mr [Member Name Removed], if it was defective hardware. But after the installers fixed the strap, which he or they may or may not have bent during installation, and the door and hardware worked perfectly, we did not believe it was our responsibility to reimburse Mr [Member Name Removed] for installation costs as he contracted the company directly, and voided his warranty by trying to make modifications himself that did not work. Again, our desire is to please all our customers, but installation is between the customer and the contractor they hire. Mr [Member Name Removed]'s issue is with the contractor, not Heavenly Doors...
