Davis Air Conditioning & Heating

The young man Davis sent was very tight lipped, not bothering to explain much of what he was doing. After spending sometime in my attic, he stated my fan motor was the problem and needed replaced. I knew I was in trouble when I found him sitting on my garage floor with a hacksaw, the fan housing. Anyway, he finally got things back together and got it going. I did notice a little bit later a loud "whistling" noise from the air vents when the fan was running Everything seemed okay for a couple of days, I was getting use to the whistle, when the unit failed come on. Davis sent another person out who found a loose wire on the unit. When the unit was finally back on and running, I asked about the whistling noise and was told it was the air hitting the metal blades of the vent covers. If I would change to plastic covers it would probably go away. I didn't! I removed one of the covers and the noise was the same. The unit seemed to be okay for a couple of weeks but then it started freezing up again. This time I went to Angie's list, found a recommended company and contacted them. They came out the same day and the Tech found a contact on the compressor was stuck closed. He replaced it and I've got A/C again.

They were professional and kept their appointment when they said. They cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again.
