Description of Work: blue pool connection built the pool in 2008. We bought the home in 10/2012. Shortly after moving in we noticed that the tile cap around the hot tub and thhe cap stone around the pool started cracking and in some places falling off completely. I contacted the owner and was told someone would be by to look at the problem. An appointment was made but noone showed up. called the owner and got some excuse about his tile guy being too busy to come ouy and look at the problem. Acll would have been nice to reschedule. I took off work to meet the guy. Owner said he would call back with another time. Waiteb a week, no call. Called again, left message. No reply. Emailed business. No reply for about a week. Owners wife called and said Marc was really busy but would come out and look at problem. A week later Marc calls schedules appointment. Take off work again and he does not show up. No call, nothing. Have emailed and called several times since then and have not recieved a single response from Marc the owner or any one else. At my wits end with this mickey mouse operation. I know its a small job and I told them I would be glad to pay for the repairs as I realize the pool is 5 years old, but too completely ignore the situation is beyond me. I have never writen a review before now, but had to communicate with anyone considering doing business with this guy they should thoroughly check him out. Too many reputable pool companies in this area to tolerate this type of unprofessionalism. I definitely will file a complaint with the BBB about product and service.

The date was scheduled and I was told I didn't need to be present during the leak detection procedure. At the end of the day, I called to get a preliminary findings report. I was told that the leak was really bad, that I had two really big leaks...but they would give me more information the next day. The next day I was told that only my skimmers were leaking. I waited for the final report in the mail, but only got a bill for $375. I called for a detail written report so that I could shop repairs and then was provided a bare minimum report typed into the body of an email. It was not the kind of report that I could use to shop around and secure prices on repairs and I was fearful that I would have to pay another pool repair place to come and do their own assessment. So, I called again to request a detailed, written report which would describe the parts of the pool plumbing that were checked for leaks, the techniques they used to check for the leaks and the exact location and severity of the leaks. I spoke to the owner who told me the email notes on the leaks was enough. When I gave an example of what I was looking for...the kind of report I am given everytime I have my furnace inspected...thinking that might help him understand what I was wanting...he became irritated with me and told me that what he did was NOT an inspection. Relenting, I asked if he could then just send me something on paper and on letter head that I could shop around with. He agreed...clearly annoyed with me and being clear that my request was VERY unreasonable. I never got the report...just another bill. So really, I have nothing for the $375 check I just wrote...except for the word of someone who was very short with me and treated me like I was crazy to ask for a written report. All of this is VERY, VERY unfortunate. Before the leak detection fiasco...they had come to my house to make minor pool repairs. The work was prompt, courteous, reasonably priced, and well done. I had even given their name to friends who were equally impressed with their services.
