ASPEN CONTRACTING INC

We had a hurricane in September and I couldn't see any significant amount of damage and forgot about it. Then 6 months later the door bell rings and there was a person from Aspen asking for replacement of the roof as they followed the disaster around in the area. I said that the roof doesn't look bad and he offered to have a look at the roof as he was an expert. We went up the roof, he walked around and he showed me where a lot of the shingles were lifted. Apparently the wind had lifted the shingles up and once they are lifted they will never reseal. He suggested on replacing the roof and covering the new roof with my insurance. This was really great and very proactive as I was not thinking of having the roof replaced at all. The quality of work was really good though the insurance covered the costs. In the meantime I had to fix some ventilators and they waited until this was done and helped to fix it with paints to match the roof. They used a very good quality of products on shingles and used pre-finished metal drippage that looks like a mirror flashing that runs around the edge of roof which was really an upgrade and this was included in their pricing. They are very knowledgeable and very efficient as their crew work together. They are very organized with the products and when I was done I got a written warranty for their work. They are very professional, very high quality of work; their project manager supervised the work and is really personable. They really did take good care of us and also gave a bundle of shingles in case of any repairs. They did a very thorough job and I was very happy with the quality of the finished product.

It was after a big hailstorm. They came door to door. They seemed to have good products and good warranty. They did the work pretty quickly and were reliable.

I worked with Zack Ford. He worked with me from start to finish through the insurance claim procedures. I was denied by the first adjuster and I was ready to give up, but Zach told me to request another adjuster. So I did and with many phone calls to the claim office on my part they finally agreed to send out the adjuster again. This time the adjuster approved the roof replacement. I only paid Aspen the amount my insurance company agreed upon. I was impressed by how well they protected the plantings by the house and tried to get all the roofing nails and debris picked up. The day of installation had some obstacles, the trailer broke down and some time was lost, but the roof was done by sundown. The job was completed the next day when they were able to haul off the remaining debris.

It was a positive experience. They responded quickly.

I have decided to go with this company. They have the qualifications I was looking for. They are Owens Corning Platinum Preferred. They have a good better business bureau records and friendly service.
