I had to leave, and had my adult step son stay to see job finished, he wrote them a check for $150.00 to be honest I have not contacted the vendor to get an invoice.

That was an important find - and he gave me a very reasonable price to get that additional work done. The riser replacement was necessary to meet code. Overall, I am very happy that the house is up to code and we are all much safer for having the work done.

+ -1 morePower in our kitchen went out. GFI wouldn't reset. All circuit breakers were working. This problem has persisted throughout the 27 years we have lived in the house. Vince arrived early with Bill. I described what was happening. Vince determined that the problem was the outside outlet getting wet. Finally, after 27 years, the problem was solved. A new code compliant tamper resistant, covered receptacle was installed and caulked. End of problem.

I hate it when repairmen come to my house and try to lie about what needs to be done and try to up sell me additional services or things I do not need. Veteran Electric did not do this. Veteran was straight forward, got the job done and I would definitely call them back.

So the 12 gauge wires were already under the sod, the electrician just needed to add an outdoor outlet, attach 6 lights and connect one transformer. He was not able to do the outdoor plug, but i was able to find another deal to install outdoor plug.

Description of Work: I needed them to come and fix repairs from a contractor that was not licensed and didn't do the work right. The unlicensed contractor (Annointed Handz) did not wire the outlet for my garage disposal correctly so it shorted out within 30 days of it being installed. Since they were completely non-responsive, I purchased a coupon here on Angie's list for an electrician for $150 to get a qualified set of eyes to look at and fix this and others issues. The electrician found the issue and repaired it in under 5 minutes but because it had shorted out my GD, I had to purchase another one.
