Description of Work: I had a wiring to a light fixture in a room. I had gotten quotes from other companies that put the cost around 300 dollars, but I figured I could pay for 2 hours worth from Veteran Electric and maybe with labor paid for I could sneak by at about 200 - 250 as generally the only materials needed were wiring and some mounting, generally inexpensive as the run was short. | |The tech came out, punctual, professional. He quoted me 3 hours of time for the job plus materials, I was left to pay 300 dollars on top of what I paid for the 2 hours on Angies List. | |The work was completed in under an hour... I was still charged the same price. He also fixed a light in one of the closets which took him less than 10 minutes. No other work was performed. No sheetrock was replaced, which I did not fault them for, it was part of the work to be performed and I was aware of this beforehand. | |The work was performed to my satisfaction despite the price being way more than what other companies quoted. The electrician was not out even for the time prepurchased but they still got an extra hours cost out of me. I would probably contact them again in an emergency, but I would get competing quotes for any extensive work.
