We became aware of Veteran Electric when Vince Anderson was sent to the house the last week of November by a home warranty company to investigate why a circuit breaker continued to regularly trip when the furnace came on. Vince inspected the control panel but was unable to witness a trip in the furnace breaker while on site. However, we all witnessed the main breaker "sparking" while inspecting the control panel. Vince suggested the main breaker needed to be replaced but advised we would probably pay as much to replace the main breaker in a very old control panel as it would cost to completely replace the control panel. After additional inspections from our electricity provider and air conditioning/heating service provider, confirming the advanced age of the control panel, we decided to replace the panel. Vince quoted a very competitive price relative to what my research indicated the market would charge for replacing a control panel and was hired to perform the work. Since the local temperature in Houston had turned cold the first week of December, I asked Vince to address the job as quickly as possible. Vince agreed to perform the work on Saturday, December 7. He stayed in contact with us and let us know he was running a little late Saturday morning but would be sure to finish the job by Saturday evening. Vince arrived as expected, got to work, had to leave briefly to pick-up parts, returned, and finished the job Saturday night. Since it was already dark outdside, Vince said he would come back and professionally label each circuit rather than us having to hand write what was what. We scheduled a day when I was off and Vince returned as promised. Vince is a U.S. military veteran, an advantage for me when selecting a service provider. He delivered on every promise made. Veteran Electric is now the company I will call for any future electrical work.
