Vincent and his team arrived as they said. They were personable, professional, and explained everything that needed to be done. They also demonstrated what other changes needed to made. They did what they said they were going to doa, when they said they would do it, and how long it would take. I was really surprised when we got the bill. I thought it was very reasonable for the amount of work they did. If you need electrical work done and don't call Veteran, you didn't do your due diligence in selecting an electrician.

It went just fine, as it always does when they send an electrician out. I've had about 4 service calls for similar types of work, installing things mostly, and they do a great job at a very reasonable price. They always send the same electrician if they can, and we get Brandon, whom we can definitely recommend. Through Angie's List we now have ourselves an electrician we can call to do all the things we need done, and we are very pleased with the work and the prices. They bill by the hour, which I like. $85 for first hour, $65 for each hour after, for one electrician. Brandon is quick enough in getting everything done that we rarely pay for more than 2 hours, and we usually have several things for him to do, some big, some little. The nice thing about the last job was that I was able to handle getting them to purchase the lights over the phone, and the prices for the lights with 4 bulbs were in the neighborhood to what I would have paid at Home Depot, and everything was in stock and brought by Brandon. Some of the fixtures I saw at H. D. were $100 each without the bulbs which are about $15 each, I believe. So we saved money by having them get the lights.

Everyone was extremely courteous and professional. I can't be more satisfied with the outcome. The owner also discussed an issue we were having with our GFI and explained that it wasn't our GFI malfunctioning but the appliance. We were able to exchange the appliance because of a short. Thank you so very much for helping us understand what the actual issue was. Honesty and integrity are very hard to find these days.

These guys are awesome!!!! They new I had a sense of urgency and came out on mother's day Sunday to do the work and didn't charge me for emergency or weekend rates. They know their stuff and are a good honest company. Put these guys in your contacts for electrician.

Dimmer switch and light repaired within 1-1.5 hours. Still awaiting the estimate for the fan.

From the beginning request for information to the time the guys walked out the door, Veteran Electric was quick to respond. They notified me when they were about 30 minutes from our home. I appreciated that because we have dogs that needed to be secured. They showed up on time, explained what they were doing every step of the way, not only to keep me informed but also to make sure I approved of what they wanted to do. They finished my long "laundry list" of items in less than 2 hours. They were polite and knowledgeable. Would I use them again? Most definitely. (Hi Ho, Silver -- Away!)

They could not fit me in for another two weeks so I opted to take advantage of my 30 day refund and have requested that through Angie's List.

The electrical fan was installed correctely, the only problem was that they didnt credit me back for the time that I was suppose to get. They didnt call me back regarding this. I have tried calling them three times.

They showed up on time and did a great job. They had to make some adjustments to the work area to do the work and did so at no extra charge! They were professional and explained exactly what needed to be done and how they were going to do the work. We are going to use them soon for more electrical work we need done. Hire this company - they do a great job at reasonable prices. We had to add a city permit which they took care of so we could do the work when scheduled.

Gave good advice on alarms that needed to be replaced. Showed me what kind, threw out old. He is coming back to install those smoke alarms.

My experience with Veteran Electric was totally positive and was how you expect and hope all your contractor jobs go. Communication in particular was excellent. I was able to call and talk to a real person right away in planning for the job. The purchase of the Angie'slist special was easy. The owner, Vince, called on the day of the job to let us know he'd be a few mins late but was pretty much on time. When he was out and about getting parts, he called to give us an update that he was having trouble getting the right box and would have to go to another supplier in Pearland. That is amazing communication you ofter do not find. The install looked absolutely wonderful, including labeling all breakers with a label maker. He went over the basic functions of the board and cleaned up after. A+++++

I purchased the two hour special they offered and had several small projects taken care of from adding GFI plugs, adding 3 way switch, diagnosing a non-functioning outside light and so on. All the work was done professionally and they showed up when promised. I definitely will keep them as my "go to" for electrical needs.

Great - even called in for additional help when it became clear it was needed to get everything done in one day.

Contractor used process of elimination to determine what was causing the short then was easily able to fix it once identified.

Much contact prior to appointment to confirm what I needed so that time would not have to used to stop work to go buy parts. Very knowledgeable so next time I'll be better prepared for more difficult jobs

Provider was on time and did what the company promised. I would recommend him to others.

I called them the day before for an emergency repair, technician showed up on time and diagnosed the problem, he returned the next morning for replacing the main breaker panel and he had to cancel other appointments to make room for my appt. Great service at a great price, will use them for any future repairs.
