Bill was fantastic! He came right over to check for leak. He found our problem & fixed it. Compared to other companies I have used in past, USA Leak Detection was fast, courteous, & charged fair pricing for services performed. Bill explained all services performed in detail. We had a sewer smell that had been horrible off and on for a year. We had talked to plumbers and had them come out, had the attic checked for rodents, etc. When I read about USA Leak Detection, I decided to give them a try. Bill, the owner, came out and within seconds of using a smoke bomb we were able to see where the leak was in our sewer pipes. Bill found the leak, repaired the pipes, which weren't properly connected, and then double checked to make sure that was the only leak. When he repeated the process, he found a second leak and repaired it. After a year of not being able to find anyone who knew how to find and fix the leak, it was such a relief to have it fixed. We have not smelled the sewer smell since then! Thank you, Bill!

This is for a job U.S. Leak completed sucessfully for us last year. We had a undergound (below foundation) leaks AFTER our foundation repair. We had several plumbers came out... some gave us good information, while others not sure what to do. Bill came out and was able to determine the possible cause AND the path/tasks need to fix it. He was up front about the possible cost... from basic and the worst case. It turns out our problem was the worst case and tunnel needed to dig under the foundation to get to the root of the problem AND repair it. Bill follow through the process, despite many interruptions with rains and storms. The leak was repaired successfully. Bill was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. He was able to provide information and ONLY perform work that was needed. Very informative through out the whole process and getting it done!

Bill was a perfect gentleman, and obviously knew his stuff. He did some preliminary checking and listening to faucets and pipes in the house, and was pretty convinced it was NOT "in the house" or under the house. We had some out buildings, and Bill suspected the water leak was between the house and those out buildings. I have had Bill out to my condo twice. About 7 months ago I had a huge leak that no one was ever able to find. He also did not find it at that time, and it never happened again (it was probably due to a neighbor's construction and not recognizing that our plumbing was connected). He offered to help look at their bathroom since I share a wall, and they weren't home so we were unable to look over there. He was very kind and respectful and offered a reduced rate since he was not here long and couldn't find the problem. Well, I had a second leak that was not nearly as bad as the last time. He made time in the day to come out the same day as the leak to try to find it. He remembered me from last time, which was impressive. He experimented for a while to re-create the leak and even opened the drywall in the ceiling (which was a request I had made) so we could find the problem. He vacuumed up after himself! He found the problem (a pinched gasket behind my shower temperature control handle) and fixed it. I would 100% recommend him to anyone. He did great work, was helpful, respectful, kind, and even let me take my dog out of his kennel to say hi.

The work went well and we were very pleased with the replacement of the sewer lines. I would definitely recommend USA Leak Detection.

They did locate a leak. They said it was in two places when actually it was only one was discovered when repairs made.

They were very professional, really good! They were able to find it and fixed it. I thought the price was pretty reasonable with the work that he did. It was a really good price, I thought. They were very responsive. I just think that they were really very professional. He did the work, did it in a fair amount of time, with a fair price.

They were professional and thorough. It turns out the leak likely didn't come from my unit, but the one behind me. They even offered to extend the detection services to them, but, I decided against bothering the neighbors. I would recommend them and would use them again.

I guess fine but they didn't fine the problem and we still have it. Well I guess it was a leak but they obviously couldn't find it I mean they just look around and see there is no water coming into the streaming well its about three inches deep so it was coming from somewhere.

I can't say enough about the professionalism, thoroughness, and patience of USA Leak Detection, specifically Bill who came out to our house to help us detect a source of moisture. He spent almost an hour examining multiple possible scenarios for what was causing the moisture. Something unique and just as important to me is that he took the time to explain to me what he was doing, what he was looking for, and how certain factors can affect the moisture we see. He ultimately found the source, and my husband and I both felt extremely confident in "diagnosis." We had already had a number of people come out to our house, and while they tried, they were unable to provide a sure answer. Bill took his time and did not hurry, and by the time he left, I knew exactly what to do in order to stop the moisture and fix the problem correctly. It was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. Finally, Bill was pleasant and even humorous, adding a certain degree of comfort in an otherwise stressful situation. My husband and I highly recommend USA Leak Detection.

IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY THEY CAN NOT FIND LEAKS THEY CAN TELL YOU WHERE WATER HAS BEEN WHICH IS NO HELP. BECAUSE ITS ALREADY CLEAR FROM THE SHEETROCK WHERE THE WATER WAS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS COMPANY. ITS A TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! MY MONEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN REFUNDED BUT WAS NOT.

I was very impressed with Jim McComas, the tech. We spoke at length about the various cracks and leaks in my pool....there are many.....my pool is over 7 years old. There has been some ground settling that caused most of the problems. He quoted me what it would cost for him to fill/patch the leaks and seal cracks that could become leaks. Jim agreed to do the job, but highly suggested that I have the pool and spa replastered and retiled. Unfortunately his company does not provide that service. He said that due to other areas that would probably cause more leaks in the future replastering and retiling was the best way to go even though more expensive. In the long run I would probably save money as more leaks would show up if I just patched the ones now present. I really appreciated his honesty. He could have just fixed the current leaks and not lost the business. I agreed with him that I would go forward with finding a company to do the replastering & retiling. After he got back to his office he e-mailed me a very detailed analysis and drawing showing all that he had discovered during his inspection so that I could give that to the company I chose to do the replastering. My hat's off to Jim for his honesty and superb analysis of my pool/spa problems. The inspection fee was well worth it.

We had a smell that seemed to come and go from our residence depending on the weather, rainfall, time of day, temperature....you name it...but we could never pinpoint the source of the odor of rotten sewer gas that invaded our house each night. Sometimes it would start in our upstairs bathroom, other times in the kitchen, sometimes in the living room. Since having a new A/C unit put in with a larger air return, the house seems to have taken on a negative pressure issue and thereby making the smell grow stronger. The builder of our house had two vent lines that terminated in our attic with AAV vents instead of routing to the atmosphere. We thought that might have been the source of our problem and had one plumber come out and change our vent valves with no results. Another plumber then came out to access the smells but again failed to reach any conclusions or was even willing to try and locate the issue. Frustrated we turned our attention to a professional leak detection service rather than local plumbers. Bill Boughey came to our home shortly after receiving our initial call and performed a "smoke" test using tools he had professionally organized. He attached the device to our clean out line and within seconds located the main source of the issue which was a large leak coming from the upstairs bathroom. Upon further investigation of our drain lines he then located the source of the leak in our lower living room where another vent line seemed to be leaking from between the joist in the ceiling. Through minimal exploratory cuts in the living room sheet rock, Bill was able to locate a completely open vent line that the builder and inspector had completely overlooked. We were shocked but very grateful for the source of the issue to be solved. Bill capped off the vent line and then issued instructions on what to do next in terms of repairs to properly vent the system. We can't thank his services enough and for saving us large sums of possible excavation and exploratory demolition to our house. Would Highly, highly recommend if you have any leaks of any sorts within your property. Completely satisfied and nice to finally use a business that takes pride and professionalism in their work. A+

Was responsive in returning calls and arranging service appointment. Service was performed as expected after first locating the drainage clean out. Owner was very professional and informative. He honored a coupon even though he was not aware the coupon was still in effect.

I live in a condominium community. My condo is on the first floor. I came in from a hard day of work to jump in the shower only to find dripping water coming from my bathroom ceiling. I called around quite a bit to inquire about leak detection services. I really liked USA Leak Detection. I spoke to Bill and he seemed very knowledgeable.
