Steve and Debbie Horn are nice when communicating with them, but the work experience itself was an incredibly awful experience for us. the main Problem was they took our money for the appliances and never paid the appliance company. The company turned to us requesting us to pay them. Morrison's has verbally confirmed they will not pursue a lien against us - but Horn's kept the money and never paid the company: At The Horn's request, we paid Two Dream Interiors $6915.01 on October 15, 2015 for appliances they purchased through Morrison's. Morrison's has not received payment from Debbie or Steve Horn and are now saying they will need to put a lien against our home unless they are paid. Here is the communication timeline with multiple attempted communications: October 15, 2015: We paid via credit card $6915.01 to Debbie and Steve Horn with Two Dream Interiors for our appliances. Debbie Horn had said we had to pay her and she would pay Morrison?s for the order. We have the paid receipt from them and can get a copy of the cancelled check if needed. Jan. 19, 2016 ? We receive letter from Morrison?s dated Jan. 15 saying they had not heard from Two Dream Interiors and they would put a lien against our property if they did not receive the $6388 they were owed. Jan. 19, 2016 ? we sent email to Morrison?s in Houston explaining this situation. They sent an email response saying they would straighten this out. Jan. 21, 2016 ? with no word from the contractors or Morrisons, we called the regional Credit Manager with Morrisons. Morrison's confirmed they had sent a letter asking for Payment to Debbie and Steve Horn in early January. They (Morrison?s) had documentation that they attempted several calls to the Horns ? with no answer. Jan. 22, 2016 ? Morrison's sent email explanation of the process for these unpaid situation to us. They said they try to keep from putting lien?s on homes. They also asked us to reach out to Horn?s. Jan. 22, 2016 ? we sent an email to Debbie and Steve Horn explaining the situation and asking them to contact Morrison?s. Jan. 26, 2016 ? after not hearing from Debbie/Steve Horn nor Morrison?s - we sent an email to Morrison?s asking if anyone had heard anything from the Horn?s. Jan. 28, 2016 ? Morrison's sent email to us saying no one had heard anything ? but they would start calling Debbie and Steve Horn every day. 2/15/16 update: The owners of Two Dream Interiors (Debbie and Steve Horn) have not communicated with us in any way. We have sent text messages and emails that previously were the means of communication between us. We have received no reply. The appliance store (Morrisons) has communicated to us that the Horns have not yet paid them. In addition to the above ethical complaint, Debbie Horn (our designer) did not visit our home for design questions after 10.14.16.The work was not ended until mid December. During the process: When I called her about what color of white paint she wanted the painter to use (he had shown up and not heard from her about the color)? she said ?my hair is wet and it will take an hour for me to get to your house; just pick any white from the painter?s color cards?; when the painter showed up to stain the interior doors ? again Debbie had not told him which color to stain it. When I called her about this ? she said, just have him go to the store and pick a color close to the wood around our windows. He couldn?t do that so I worked with stains he had in his truck and picked one. When the tile subcontractors showed up to install the backsplash ? the design of how to lay out the tiles was not completed and I had to work with the tile installers to try to lay it out around our outlets. This took several hours.
Description of Work: Kitcben update including paint walls and cabinets; install backsplash, replace appliances, replace interior doors, replace counter tops with quartz; new faucet and lights.

Today is 6th November and still not finished. Not responsive have asked for yet another completion schedule. Original schedule was approx 8 weeks, now week 25 and work still not done. Second schedule said be finished mid-October, did not happen. Reduced the scope just to get them finished. 3rd Schedule said complete by 5th November, still not complete and despite asking 3 times have not got another completion schedule. Asked for invoices for materials I purchased, initial r esponse was a spreadsheet from Two dreams stating how much I should have paid, upon receipt of SOME invoices, there were several discrepancies in the favor of Two Dreams of course. I have no idea when they will finish. Have been without the use of our bedroon or bathroom for nearly 6 months now. No real reason given or apologies for lack of effort/work. We have received written apologies ( via text) from SubContractors working for Two Dreams. Be sure to check everything they do and say, they did NOT obtain permits and it was only upon my insistance that they eventually acquiesced after over 3 months of work. In fact they originally told me thay didn't need permits which was strange as the contract stated quite clearly that work would commence only after all required permits were received. Their contract is very pro-Two Dreams and don't make the same mistake I did. Take it to a lawyer first, but to be honest, don't use them at all. I am writing this to stop any other person falling into this trap.
Description of Work: Originally contracted to remodel Master bedroom and Master Bathroom 8 weeks duration. Still not finished now in week 27 and counting. Very poor all round.

Description of Work: We hired Two Dream Interiors for a kitchen remodel. Demolition was supposed to start in early January and take 4 weeks to complete. Demolition did start as scheduled, but by March 10, we still did not have a functional kitchen with no end in sight so we fired them. The electrical wiring they did was such a mess that we had to pay some other electricians $3800 to fix the wiring so all our lights would work. They also had to tear out the backsplash to find the wires. Two Dreams electricians had hidden junction boxes in the walls and all sorts of other code violations. Two Dream never got a permit from the city to do anything even though this was a full kitchen remodel for over $30,000. Numerous emails and calls to the owners were either not responded to, or resulted in no action. He owners came out to bid the job, but never came out to the job site once it started. They let their 23 yr old son who was just out of school run everything. Days would go by with no work being done.

There was a guy who came out to build a cabinet for me. He was terrific and as good as I possibly could have asked for. He was attentive, he listed and he asked what I wanted. I asked him to do the cabinet; he figured it out, he did it on time and better than I could possibly have anticipated. He made some changes to the cabinet that made it better than anything I thought it would and it turned out gorgeous. He is great and I love him. I will be using him again in the future on another project and he is the guy I am going to call
Description of Work: I used Two Dream Interiors LLC for cabinet making.

A wonderful experience. The work was amazing, they go the extra mile to make the work beautiful. We saw several contractors and they were the only ones that listened to us. Pricing was right on with others and they came in on budget. We are using them again for our kitchen, bathroom and flooring.
Description of Work: Removed (4) windows and replaced with a sliding glass door and added two larger windows on either side that lead out to the pool.
The price didn't the appliances. The experience was exemplary up until the last week and then we had a little difficulty but they resolved everything. We would definitely give them a good recommendation. The work was excellent and we were thrilled with the kitchen. The subcontractors they used for tiling, cabinetry, granite and plumbers were excellent. We would probably use them again if we had another project.
Description of Work: We used Two Dream Interiors to gut the kitchen and they rewired the kitchen and did custom made cabinetry. They re-plumbed the entire kitchen and did tile floors, granite countertops and granite backslash except for the bar area where we put tile.
