Too slow to respond. They said they can't get out until January 8th, and that's unworkable.

It went excellent and the price was still within the range of the price they would have charged me.

I really wanted to use this provider, because they are located 1 mile from my home. However, based upon (6) other electrical estimates, their price to install a switched eyeball light was 100% higher. Otherwise, I have no problem with them. They showed up promptly and I received a prompt quote. The total quote for (4) recessed light, was also higher at 50%. I'm sure they do excellent work, but I could not justify paying double than the highest quote from (6) other bidders on the switched eyeball light. I thought about calling them back and asking if there was some error in their eyeballs light quote, but I wanted to get this done ASAP. The work was done by a contractor recommended by my original home builder (who is not on Angie's list) at 50% of their quote on the recessed lights and 75% of their quote for the switched eyeball light. Trim's total quote was $1054 plus tax. I was able to get the same work done for $608 plus tax. I am very pleased with that contractor and the work that was performed. Thanks, Will

They were on time, very professional and asked where I wanted the plug. They then added, cleaned any debris and were on their way.

We have used Trim Electric for several jobs and have always been pleased with the work. For our recent kitchen remodel, we hired Trim to install the wiring for under-cabinet lighting and to switch out all the plugs and switches for more modern ones in a color that would work better with our new backsplash. As usual, the electricians were prompt, polite and professional I LOVE the results! It was kind of expensive, but I would do it again.

Appointment was today between 11 + 1. pm. finally get a call at 1.30 saying they can't make it. wasted a half day vacation!!! I guess the technicians do not carry cell phones. Very disappointing.!!

7/25 Michael was very professional and used his experience as an electrician to solve an issue we had with a circuit. He also pointed out some issues we had with our main panel box. We have contracted with Trim to make those needed repairs and resolve those issues. Trim's reputation in the neighborhood is that they are expensive. Michael admitted they may be higher but also pointed out they know what they are doing and fix your problems the right way. We have had problems with a previous electrician who was cheaper but he cut corners on repairs. 8/13 Crew that came to re-run main service to breaker box and re-wire breaker box was very professional. Job took a little longer than they projected, but now our electrical power is safely installed. I would recommend them due to their professionalism and knowledge. They also were neat and clean both in appearance and with the work they did.

I now know never to contact this company for any upcoming electrical work.

I needed to have a breaker replaced for our A/C unit and was told it would be 2 weeks before anyone could do the work. I called another electrician on angles list and they completed the work within 4 hours

I bought a house and needed to get new electric circuits, so that's why I bought the deal for trim electric thinking that they could help. They emailed me and said they would call me that afternoon, they never called. The next day about. 4 pm, I rec'd another email saying that they had lost my number or couldn't find it and that they would call me when I emailed the number. I did, and still didn't hear from them until yesterday. In the mean time, I met with a contractor, talley construction and he told me he would have his electrician come and they wouldn't charge me anything. So, when trim electric called yesterday, i told them I used someone else b/c it took too long for them to contact me. She said ok, just get a refund from Angie's list. So, that's what I am trying to do. Thank you.

My husband called to set an appointment for the installation of an electrical outlet. Trim Electrical set a 2 hour window for service--not a full day to wait around for them. Trim Electrical had a cancellation and called to asked if I wanted them to come early. They gave me a new 2 hour window. 20 minutes prior for them to arrive the service man called to let me know they were on their way to my home. Once I had shown them where the installation was to be placed they worked quickly and efficiently to put in the outlet. They were very professional and respectful. The costs was as quoted and the parts that were required were at what I would have paid at a home improvement store. I will always use Trim Electric.

Professional, on time. Called to say they were on their way. made sure brace was strong enough to hold very heavy chandelier. Very careful with it it was fragile also they were very patient hanging living room light. It was difficult. Cleaned up all dust etc. from making hole for new outlet.

Very nice guys! We paid by the half hour to have several light switches and outlets replaced and repaired throughout our house. Easy to set up appointment and great to work with!

We were happy with the work provided to us by Trim Electric Inc. It all went the way we wanted it to and they did a good job.

The job went exactly as expected. The work was done quickly and as requested. Cleanup afterward was done. I am very satisfied and plan to use Trim for further work in the near future.

Monday morning we found that our kitchen and breakfast area wall electrical outlets were not working. I checked the circuit breaker which was in the "on" position. I called Trim Electric and spoke to a pleasant lady who gave a window of two hours, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm the next day for Mike to come and diagnose the problem. We received a phone call from Mike at 9:15 to say he was on his way and he arrived 15 minutes early He checked the outlets and the circuit breakers in the main panel. He was soon able to diagnose the problem as a burnt out connection, which he repaired. Mike also checked all the terminal connections in the panel and made sure all the outlets were working, and asked before he left if we had any more problems. This is the second time we have used Trim Electric for repairs and have found everyone in the office, and Mike, both friendly and efficient. We will not hesitate to recommend them and will call them again should we need electrical work.

Our initial contact with Trim Electric was with an extremely professional Office Manager named Brittany. She set us up with an appointment with Jason, the Service Manager, for a free estimate. Jason came out and gave us some very good advice. We were not planning to replace our old breaker panel, but after many questions from us and very knowledgeable answers from Jason, we decided to have this additional work done. I should mention that there was no sales pressure whatsoever by Jason to sell us a much bigger job. We made this decision on our own, solely based on the fact that our panel was nearly 40 years old and located in a small inside closet. Trim e-mailed the bid to us, we decided that it was acceptable, and we scheduled the job. It was necessary for us to contact Centerpoint Energy and have them come to our house to shutdown our power, which they did. The electricians, Carlos and Marco, arrived on time and began the job. This was a huge job, very complex in nature, and very demanding, both technically and logistically. I was astonished at the complexity of this undertaking. These guys were both technically proficient and hard working, and they worked on this all day and well into the evening. At the end of a somewhat exhausting day, we were looking at our brand new, expertly installed state of the art breaker panel in its new location. Best of all, it works flawlessly. Five days now and not a single tripped fuse or malfunction of any kind. The new power line to the outside of the house was installed perfectly as well. Most definitely an all around outstanding job!

We are selling our house and had an inspection report turn up several items that we needed an electrician to review. Trim Electric did a great job of letting us know what items needed to be corrected and what items were normal for when our house was built. They were also very prompt and listened to what we needed.

They were very professional and I am sure that they do excellent work; it is just that they were very expensive. I thought what they were asking was a bit outrageous. The only thing was I had to call them and request for a quote. The electrician that came didn’t give it to me when he was here, he said he would write up the paper and they would email it. I waited for two days and a weekend and finally, the following Monday I sent an email to their office and they turned around and gave me the quote that day which was a pretty outrageous one. I didn’t end up using their service.

Would not consider us because of location in Porter TX.

Arrived promptly to install an electrical outlet. I had no idea what I really needed, and after telling them it was for a freezer, they explained my options and helped me decide whether to go for the quick-fix or a more expensive one. No pressure to up-sell to do more work than necessary.

The install went according to plan. The install team was prompt, professional and fast. I use Trim Electric on future projects.

Service technicians Ruben and Matthew came in and immediately went to work. There was no delay in their getting things started. They checked the outlets in question and had them working again in short order. Several had to be replaced and they had all the parts on their truck and completed the job quickly. Previously I had another electrician from a well-known firm out to my house and they told me that the load on my electrical panel was not balanced and needed to be replaced soon. The Trim Electric techs inspected my panel and said it looked like everything was working properly and would not require replacement. I would recommend this provider.

They were very good. They came early - they even called and asked if they could come out a day early. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. It took less than an hour. They charged what they said it would cost.
