Jason came out, appraised the situation and gave an accurate quote for the work. All interactions with the main office and employees were pleasant. On day of service the techs were about an hour late. They did good work, answered my questions and explained most of what they were doing. I had an installation issue arise, but the office dealt with it professionally and got it resolved. Overall a good experience and I would use them again.

Two electricians came. They were very polite and professional--worked quickly and explained things well. I am very satisfied with their work.

The day of the installation, they called in advance to let us know what time they would arrive within the previously scheduled block of time that we had discussed. One worked put the fan together as the other one hung the already assembled parts. Definitely knew what they were doing and were efficient with the installation. I have no concerns about the fan coming loose or not working well because of the quality of service provided. They honored the coupon posted on their site. A little pricey but I would definitely use them again because of the quality and professionalism exhibited.

The repairmen found that the timer switch was faulty but did not have a comparable part to fix it. They had to go to Home Depot to find the part. They could not find exactly what I had before so they brought another type of timer switch in white instead of the brass that I had. Everything was installed quickly and easily. They left me instructions of how to get a brass plate to replace the white one. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but I am not an expert in electrical repair. There was $125 to make the house call.

Trim Electric did an excellent job! Their receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I mention this because I think good companies have excellent customer service EVERY step of the way, from start to finish. The estimate was scheduled within a couple days of my initial call and a written itemized estimate was emailed to me within 24 hrs after the estimator visited as promised. I liked the itemized estimate because it allowed us to consider several items and select the ones we wanted without having to have a second revised estimate. They were straightforward about how long it would take to schedule the work once the estimate was complete (about 5 days after the estimate). I didn't mind waiting a few days because the better companies are busy because they are in demand. Both the estimator and the workmen were punctual. Two of their servicemen performed the work in about 2 to 2 1/2 hours which was VERY quick considering the work they had in front of them. They were courteous and got to business immediately. They did an excellent job of placing the fixtures exactly where I wanted them (even marked the brick that I pointed to for the coach light) and were patient in answering questions I had about the operation of the photocell fixture afterwards. Overall it was a very smooth experience and we are thrilled with our security/outdoor lighting. They did everything as promised and efficiently. We will definitely use them again.

They were very efficient and professional. They were respectful of my eighty year old mother who was at the home. They made sure she was aware the power would be off for three to four hours and that she would be okay with that. They kept her updated on how it was going. They left the area looking better than it did when they started.

These guys were very, very professional and fast workers. The goofy thing was that when I called to schedule an appointment, they asked ME to pick up a timer for the outside lights. I spent an entire day going to 4 different hardware stores to look for the timer. I called first thing Monday morning to tell them I couldn't find one and it turns out they had one on their truck.

They were really good. They did not make any mess on my walls. They did not leave any holes. They were on time. The price was very reasonable. They took one full day to complete all the work. They cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again. They did the changes as I asked them to do. I made the appointment with them and they were here within a week. Their uniform was clean and well-pressed. They were clean when they left my house.

Their quality of work was really good. Their price was a little high, though.

Left message for them to call me re coming out for a quotation to change electrical box, rewire some lights inside and out. Probably $5k of work. They called back to say had received my message and would call me to arrange a visit to quote. Called back the day before the day I had asked them to quote and told me they were very busy with all these big contracts etc. etc. and would not be able to make my deadline for finishing the work (I gave them 10 days), nor could they make the day for coming out to quote (I gave them 6 days notice) etc. etc. I was left with the impression they were too busy with big contracts, could not meet my deadlines, could not even accommodate coming out to quote. I am sure their work is great, that is why they are busy. I just did not feel important enough to be a customer.

They gave us an overpriced quote and we were not impressed with them. They said they weren't going to be able to start the job for another week and a half while we didn't have power in half of our home. He made the problem seem worse than it was, so I feel like he was lieing and trying to take advantage of us. We ended up finding someone who could make the repairs for $1250 cheaper.

It went very, very well. An extremely nice electrician.

In replacing three (3) light fixtures in my master bath, it was suggested that I may want to have a dimmer installed to save on electricity. I agreed, and I am really enjoying it. When I purchased my home in 2006, I did not have a fan installed in my patio. This was an oversight due to the fact that I was in CA at the time the house was being built. I finally decided to have one installed and it was a challenge, but both Rubin and Mathew were very patient and did an excellent job. I love my new patio fan which comes on with the use of a remote. I was so happy and excited that I forgot to provide them with my $20 discount posted on Angie's List at the time of payment. After thinking about it, I realized that they earned this amount and more based on the quality of the work. They also did a great job of cleaning up which was great.

The kitchen light stopped working but the small sink light still worked. Both were on the same switch. A new light fixture and connection box was installed to properly link the two lights. In addition, the house alarm system was fully disconnected at my request. They asked if there was anything else they could do for me and cleaned up after themselves.

They showed up, immediately fixed my problem. They were polite and quick. No problems at all. They didn't treat my simple problem as a bother which was nice. I knew it was VERY simple but just didn't have the means to fix it myself. I was pleased they didn't belittle my request as some other companies did (they didn't even want to come out for it)

It could not have gone any better. Jason came by to go over the scope of the work in order to prepare a proposal. Trim was one of three electric companies that bid on the project. Jason really listened to what I wanted and then itemized the bid so I understood exactly what I was paying for. The payment terms were really reasonable. In comparison one of the other companies that came to the house wanted 50% of the total job both the rough in and finish work just for scheduling the job. In this market, that payment was ridiculous. The work took two days to complete as Jason had estimated. Ruben and Matthew showed up on time. Those guys really worked hard all day. When they left each day, the work site was the cleanest that I have ever seen. The ladies at the office took care of scheduling the electrical inspector and that went off like clockwork. Matthew and Ruben were very respectful of my house. The work was exactly as promised. I can't say enough nice things about this company. It was a pleasure to deal with such professional, hard working employees. This is obviously a very well run company with caring employees.

Their work was clean and they were very efficient. They were on time and called me to reconfirm the appointment. They were accommodating. They did a very nice job. They were hardworking.

They were prompt and courteous, and the work was completed as they quoted it.

I called to schedule an appointment on Wednesday for the following Monday. The person on the phone gave me their rates ($62 for the service call and $100/hour plus any materials) and estimated the job would take approximately 2 hours, which included installing a new electrical box and brace to support the chandelier. They told me the crew would arrive sometime between Noon and 2pm on Monday. They arrived promptly at 12:30pm and finished in 1 hour and 20 minutes. They cleaned everything up when they were done and were very courteous and respectful of my house. I would definitely hire them again for any electrical work I need to have performed.

Andrew arrived and after checking out the dryer cord he found out he didn't have the correct cord on hand. He told me that he could install the lights I provided under the cabinets and then go and get the correct cord or if I wanted to save some time, he could get started installing the lights and I could run to the home improvement store and pick up the cord and he would install it. I did that and when I returned he was finishing up installing the lights and then changed out the cord. He was extremely fast and efficient as well as very professional and did an excellent job. After he left, my wife told me she had asked him if he could attach the dryer vent for us which he did gratis. All in all a good experience and I wish we had more Andrews. Rest assured I will use Trim for all my electric work.

This was a great company to do business with. We called for an estimate, which was free, and it was only a few days until Jason came and estimated the work for us. We had a motion light on the back of the house that would only work when it felt like it or go for months and not work at all. Jason suggested a photocell be used instead of the motion detector. Trim Electric emailed the proposal to us, we signed it and faxed it back and they promptly called to set up a time for the work. Carlos did the actual installation and as I watched him, I felt that he truly knew what he was doing. The ceiling fan in the living room was difficult to put up because of a pipe running through the ceiling that was very close to the recessed light that was removed. He took his time and made sure it was done correctly. We furnished the two fans and they furnished all other needed materials and the photocell out back. The price was a little higher than the proposal due to some extra supplies.

I called and spoke with Jason who came out and gave me an estimate on the job. We decided to give his company the job. Jason told me that his men would be at our home between 12 noon and 2 pm and that the job would take about 5 hours. The men arrived at 1 pm and the job took just a shade over 5 hours. This included repairing the ceiling fan and replacing the dimmer switch. They also identified and labeled the circuit breakers. The work was professionally done; it was neat and tidy except for a few pieces of metal left in the grass behind the garage. I called Jason the next week and told him that I was pleased with the work and also about the pieces of metal. He thanked me and added that the metal pieces should have been cleaned up. (I got the feeling that somebody was going to be reprimanded for that lapse.)

I do think that they charged a little too much for the work that was done. However, they were on time and they were very professional.

I was a little concerned when I called early in the day and the electrician didn't call back until late afternoon, but after we talked, the workman came on time as promised. He was very personable, answered all our questions, worked quickly and efficiently. We will definitely use them again.
