They are top-notch; absolutely excellent. We were their customers and were trying to sell our house. Others were telling us our pool needed about $1,300 in repairs. I called this company and told them we were trying to close our loan. I told them I needed them to come to my house immediately. I needed them to diagnose what was wrong with my pool and whether the estimate I already had gotten was reasonable. I also wondered how fast they could get any work done. One day later the work was done for one-third of the price I had been quoted. They are really good. I also have had minor emergencies on the weekend; a pipe or something burst and I had a huge fountain of water spraying in my backyard. I called them and asked for their help and they fixed the problem. They also did a very thorough pool inspection for my next house, as well. To me, price was more important than finding somebody I can trust and who will keep my pool from turning green again.

My husband and I are new home owners. We bought our house, in part, because of the pool. We were referred to Texsun Pools because they have a and quot;Pool School.and quot; This is a service where, for $150.00 they will come out to your house and teach you about your pool specifically and how to care for it. They also have a FREE weekly class that goes over basics. They also claim to service over 700 pools. Sounded great! We called the main office during some recent heavy rains and explained to Texsun Pools that our pool went from clear to green in about 2 days. As new home owners, we nearly panicked. Texsun Pools sent someone out and told us that it would be $125.00 to clean our pool and $200.00 for monthly maintenance. The cleaning was supposed to take place over a about 4 days and was supposed to start at the beginning of the week. My husband was give this information on a Thursday. He scheduled the cleaning and gave our credit card number. On Friday, I called to clarify what and quot;beginning of the week meant.and quot; I was told by Michelle that a supervisor would clean the pool and that she couldn't give me a specific day because some things could change in their schedules, but that the services would start on Monday or Tuesday. We watched helplessly as our pool turned into a swamp over the weekend. Monday came, no service. Tuesday came, no service. I called first thing today, Wednesday, and Michelle couldn't tell me why the services haven't started. In the process of waiting for her to call the supervisors to find out why the services haven't started, we found reputable pool company that jumped at the chance to earn our business by being so responsive that they are on their way to our house as I type this. We are highly dissatisfied with the level of service we received from Texsun Pools. I will tell the person who referred us to Texsun about our experience and will recommend that she not refer others to Texsun. UPDATE: It's going to cost us $250 to clean our pool with the new vendor.

While out of town the pool service was not completed although my creadit card was charged. I arrived home with the pool water green, broken pipes leaking chloride water into plants that were almost dead, includingf a 40 foot tall magnolia tree behind pool. We immediately called and it took one week for them to come out. They suggested getting a local school kid to dig out the broken pipes as they were "very expensive. We exposed the broken pipes and they again waited another week to come out. Eventually hired someone off Craig's list who came out and fixed leak in 30 minutes for $75. Texsun's technicians always explain things to me when they do the check ups. I appreciate being knowledgeable about the process. They are clean and very well mannered when they are around our home. The check ups don't take very long, but they are thorough. We have not had any pool problems since we started the diagnostic tests.

Our pool is almost twenty years old. Which is why we were surprised when Tex sun found a gearbox for it. We thought the part was discontinued. Their technicians were prompt in arriving to replace the gearbox. The task took four hours to finish. They accomplished this without getting any grease in the pool water, which was their major concern. The back flush problem has not recurred.

They are very reliable and I have never had a problem with any of their work. They always make the pool water clear and sparkling. Their service makes the pool look brand new. They never put too many chemicals in the water. The employees are always polite and courteous when they come out. They come out to make sure the pump is working right and never clogged up. They come out like clock work to do the weekly maintenance.
