This company gave a estimate to replace a backyard cedar fence. The day that the rep was to show to receive the signed contract was the day prior to Hurricane Ike blowing in. The rep failed to show and the company became busy with post-hurricane repair/business after the storm was over. I think we just got forgotten in the hurricane aftermath.

I used Summit Fence for two large jobs in 2003 and 2004. When I needed a gate fixed in 2004, they were prompt and professional. When I needed a repair last year they also did a good job. This month when I contacted them for another repair (small stall turnouts have half the vinyl fence pieces falling out) their service is now lousy. The man that came to figure the estimate was rude and didn't get back to me in over a week. I had to call, then a few days later they called back and said they had no one to do a small repair job. Great, I spend $9000 and your turnouts are falling apart when they are five years old and you won't come fix them. Oh, I don't expect them to be fixed for free, I want to pay for this repair job and they still won't help me.

Overall, I have a good fence, there were a few problems, some fixed. My yard will take some time before the grass will grow again, but overall I give them a B+.
