+ 0 moreHe sold the job on providing a 36" log set. He provided a 24" set. When confronted with the discrepancy, he said he would refund the $200 difference or replace the logs. I chose the $200. After numerous contacts from me to him, I gave up. Eventually I purchased a set of the right sized logs but still have the smaller burner. This contractor is NOT to be trusted with your money.
Description of Work: Converted outdoor fireplace from wood to propane with ceramic logs

+ -1 moreWe were forced to file suit against this contractor because he would not finish the job correctly. When we withheld payment until completed, he filed a lien against our home. We hired an attorney and won treble damages in court including having the lien removed. We will recover what was paid to him in good time. The cost of repair to fix all of the mistakes has been expensive to say the least.
Description of Work: Poor work, shoddy at best. Did not complete the project. Offered to do things that he could not actually do, and did not have a crew to do. Represented himself as an electrician but does not have a license to do electrical work. Represented himself as able to provide stonework, but his attempts at colums looked like something my child had done. Hired a day laborer to place the patio pavers. Seriously... bough an uninsured non-employee onto my property and had them install paver flooring.
