The weather did not cooperate in the beginning of the project which caused some headaches and delays. However, Paul and his professional crew were quick to respond and addressed all issues. I would highly recommend Shamrock Roofing. They are local folks with excellent customer service.

Given how particular I am with quality, they paid attention to every detail - whether it was how the shingles were installed, how they protected my house and landscaping from damage, and their thoroughness in clean-up. They were professional and their crew worked as a team. Everyone knew their jobs and, consequently, they were quite effective. The job took a little over 2 days to complete. I am very happy with the results. The house looks absolutely sharp.

+ -1 moreShamrock Roofing was the most prompt roofer I called after the storms in the Spring, TX area and their technician, Matt, came to my house and did an assessment of my roof. He told me that my roof was in good shape (except for the 4 shingles I lost on my garage); however, the pipe jacks and vents were just "builder grade" material and were showing signs of cracking because they were not of the higher quality metal material. He submitted a repair proposal to replace the jacks with new ones with metal plates and to re-nail, caulk and paint the other vents on my roof to help prevent any leaking/cracking from occurring. The work was done as soon as the rains had stopped and there was a day or two of dry weather and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use Shamrock Roofing again for any roofing problems.
Description of Work: Came out to check on my roof after the storms in our area. I had lost some shingles on my garage and was concerned about the roof on my house also.

+ -1 moreI contacted Shamrock Roofing about a small roof repair on a rental house I own. They are local (2 miles away) so I hoped this would be a simple repair job. Roof had less than a dozen shingles that needed to be replaced all in one area due to a wind storm. I had already had my insurance adjuster out to verify damage was just in that one area. I was very clear that is all that I was looking for. I initialled called and discussed on May 11th. They said they would have a salesman contact me to setup an appointment for a quote. Salesman called and we discussed what I was looking for. Appointment was set for May 17th. I received no quote nor a phone call. I called back on May 24th to inquire. They promised to get back to me that same day. The next day salesperson calls and says wind damage for complete roof and my insurance will cover. I remind him again I'll already had my insurance company inspect and to please provide a quote of just the small repair. He sends me a quote on May 26th for entire roof replacement. So If you want to pick a roofer that listens to you, don't select Shamrock.

+ -1 moreI called 4 of Angie’s list recommended roofers for a quote to replace my roof. Of those 2 responded to my call, Shamrock’s quote was 25% more competitive than the other roofing company, using GAF Timberline HD shingles. The work was done exactly as described, on time and professionally installed. The supervisor was courteous and took the time, and had the skill, to replace several rotten plywood pieces including one tricky spot around and under the chimney. While the job was being done we had the kind of mess you would expect, but by the time the job was complete (3 days) the cleanup was excellent. I also had them inspect another house for hail damage and was told that roof was in good condition, so no pressure to replace when not needed. I was very pleased with the final job and feel we received a quality job at a good value.

Shamrock replaced the roof and had the porch fixed. The heavy rains have proved that Shamrock were correct in why we had the leak, as the leaks are no more. Very happy with the whole process. Would recommend.

+ 2 moreDuring a recent hail storm in the Tomball area we received damage to the roofs, gutters and screens of both our resident home and rental home that is located across the street. We had several companies come out to look at the damage and provide a bid on the work that had to be done. We were a little frustrated at the response from other roofing companies until we met with Matt of Shamrock roofing. He showed genuine interest in our wants and concerns. We gave Shamrock Roofing the contact to do our two houses. They replaced the roofs, gutters, torn screens and molding and straitened the fins on our AC units as well as replacing the Back door on our rental house. Matt kept us informed throughout the project and quite frankly you could not ask for a better guy to deal with. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Shamrock replaced the roofs, screens, gutters and even the back door on two of our homes after hail had damaged both of them.

+ -1 moreAfter contacting Matt he advised that he fixed the leak in that gutter. Problem is there was no leak. It was just out of alignment. He said he did not quote to fix that. He had Paul the owner contact me. After Paul looked at it he said he would get Latcho his gutter sub contractor to deal with me directly. I contacted Latcho and he set an appointment, then he didn't show. I called Latcho again and he set another appointment, he didn't show for that either. So here we are in June and the biggest problem I had was not fixed and Shamrock was paid in full already. I'm not happy with the service.
Description of Work: I had met Shamrock roofing at a home show at the George R Brown in March. Within a couple weeks the salesman showed up to assess the work required. We had a minor leak at the joint of a patio roof and the main house. Also, one gutter was loose in the back of the house which just needed to be secured. Finally in the back patio of the house one gutter was not sitting level anymore and was causing water to overflow and cause damage to a window under it. That gutter needed to be adjusted to ensure the water ran off properly and did not back up. Matt from Shamrock was advised by my wife of the work needed needed and he left an estimate of $1200. I was not home when Matt came to look at the work due to the fact that he was late for the appointment so I had to leave to get to work. I found out later that Matt did not actually go in the roof to look at the project. I thought the $1200 estimate to be a bit high since I have bought another house in Cypress and had another roofing company do a seal job on the roof which was approximately $800 however considering the gutter work I felt it was okay. After completing the work I noticed the gutter still overflowed. Upon inspection I saw that the gutter was not adjusted.

+ 0 moreEverything is working as promised, and the work was completed. Part of the reason I am writing this review is so I can be sure to find them when I need a new roof. Very easy to work with, they were prompt and professional.
Description of Work: My roof was leaking. They came out and fixed the core problem with the leak. Also, there were some mis-matched shingles on the roof and none of the flanges for the pipes were fastened to the roof properly by the original installer. I also had them install some seamless gutters.

The materials and workmanship were fantastic. We have had several comments about how good our roof looks already and I understand Shamrock has had several calls for proposals from people who have seen our new roof.
Description of Work: The provider gave a prompt, friendly, proposal and explained the entire process. We had a wind damage insurance claim involved in our work and Shamrock handled the final documentation for final insurance settlement. The housekeeping clean-up after the job was spotless and the workmanship on the roof was terrific.

+ -1 moreVery impressive! Paul, the owner of Shamrock, arrived right on time Thursday and inspected the roof. He took pictures and explained only repairs were needed. Since rain was predicted for the next few days, he advised they would be back either Friday or Monday, weather permitting. Well, Paul actually sent someone back Thursday afternoon and the job was completed. Fantastic! I was very appreciative. Paul was most personable and informative and he provided all of his necessary credentials up front. He took the time to consult with me on some deck issues I had and offered some options. He came back on Saturday with his guy and did an inspection. The job will be scheduled once weather permits. Given Paul's involvement in the entire process I feel Shamrock is a company that can be trusted and I highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreThis is the first time ever I have been completely satisfied and I am very hard to please and dread any type of repair/maintenance on my home because of the inconvenience and "mess". I experienced none of that with Shamrock, not only did I get a great roof but these guys cleaned up immaculately when they were finished, even the evening they were not completely finished with the installation. They covered everything even my pool and ensured they were no nails in pool or anywhere else. And Paul handled everything for me, dealt with my insurance company, Everything! I just wish he did interior painting as I am dreading that but would definitely put it in his hands.

+ 1 morePaul Martin ,owner, was extremely professional and earned our trust.He took time to go up in attic to inspect roof and discovered that the roof ridge vent was not opened but sealed with roofing material. He explained the issue with heat in the attic. Attic has been extremely hot since new roof installed in 2008. There was no ventilation. We hired his company to do the repairs and his roofing forman was very professional. He showed me every step of repairs being made. He actually did some of the work himself. A truly trust worthy roofing company that I only wished we had known of back in 2008 when our roof had to be replaced. we highly recomend Shamock Roofing company as a very professional and trustworthy roofing company. Description of Work: Replaced 40 ft roof ridge, cut open to reinstall with new ridge vent and new shingles.Previous roofers in '08 had roof ridges completely sealed with shingles. NO VENTILATION AT ALL IN ATTIC Added screen/metal to facia ends to seal space in front of house and garage, renailed gutters, replaced , chalked pvc vents and heater stacks re-nailed loose ridge shingles and prelaced ones that were worn seal around chimney.
