Robby was introduced by my neighbors. He knows something about the electrical work but he is not good at working on tiles and etc. He was not keeping up with his commitment and not professional. I called him several times for him to fix the fireplace marble tiles which he did not fix it correctly first time but he didn't pick up the calls or responded to me. Very bad.
Description of Work: Wood floor plug, fireplace marble tiles,

To install a hot water heater in the city limits of Conroe, Texas a permit must be obtained from the permitting office. It is also required that a Contractor be a Licensed Plumber to install a hot water heater. No permit was obtained at the required office and could not be because Robby Lillegaard is not a licensed plumber. The permitting office advised me that should the hot water heater cause a fire, flood, etc., (it's in my attic), that my homeowners insurance would NOT cover it. I followed up with my insurance company and was told that was correct. After further investigation, on the State Of Texas Board of Electricians, and State Board of Plumbers, and calling the State Licensing Boards, I was informed that Robby Lillegaard was NOT a licensed Plumber NOR a licensed Electrician. To contract for electrical work, a license is required as well. Any work done by unlicensed contractors that cause problems, at your home, fires, flood, explosion, etc., homeowners insurance will NOT cover it. It is the home owners responsibility to verify licenses of contractors. Robby Lillegaard represents himself as a Master Electrician and a Master Plumber. If a Contractor is licensed and insured, the license number must be displayed on the Contractor's vehicle, invoices, billing, even in advertisements. Please be sure to verify the license on the State Of Texas Licensing website and or call the number listed on the site to cover yourself. There are good Contractors and there are bad Contractors. Robby Lillegaard is one of the bad Contractors.

He took $1,200 of my money. He took the check and deposited it immediately. He told me his girlfriend worked at the bank so, that was a little suspicious. His number was disconnected after cashing the check. Everything was fake on the card with no physical address and the magnet he had attached to the truck. He called the next morning and said, his bother had a heart attack he called one more time and I never heard from him again.
Description of Work: He took a $1,200 check and never came back to do the job.
