Radio Shack

I went into the Radio Shack store and told them I was there to return the product basis this policy I'd purchased and wanted a replacement. They handed me a 1-800 number to call and walked away. After multiple attempts to ring through and get service on this 800 - I asked them to get me a warm body on the phone with this service company they used on their land line phone. They did - then I was advised I had to return the broken ear buds, via UPS, to a return center address and they'd email me a pre-paid UPS label. So - in order to use their service to replace 2 month old broken electronics - I have to be without the use of the $300 iPod for about a month, if my return is processed in the ~7-10 days it will take to ship to them and then it takes another 14 days to get a check / gift card in the mail back. They make it very cumbersome & painful to utilize this bogus program, obviously hoping many will give up. While I anticipate a refund for the faulty good - I should receive one for the faulty return policy & service. As this seems to be their only return mechanism for faulty products, I won't be purchasing any more products from there.
