They sold us a $2,300 deck seal job with the payoff of a 25 year warranty. We had a problem with the deck a month later and began calling Premier Sealer. After many, many messages left with their answering service and not one returned call, I decided to go to their office. The address on the paperwork was 5380 W. 34th Street in Houston. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a UPS store! I went inside and asked how long they had been at that address and they said, "A very long time". I called the answering service and got an address of 83 N. Indigo Circle in The Woodlands, TX. I drove all the way across town to find myself sitting in the driveway of a house! A truck and a car drove up and a guy asked me what I was doing. I told him the story and he said he just bought the company. I told him about the 25 year warranty (I have in writing) and he said it didn't matter because everything started over when he bought the company. I told him he bought the liabilities as well. He asked me to leave the property. I told him he could deal with me or an attorney. He said go ahead - I got plenty of money for that and told me to get my a** of his property right now. Questions - why was the original address a fake? Why was the so-called new owner hiding from these issues instead of returning calls? Why is there no office to go to? Why was I treated like that?
Description of Work: Removed furniture from deck, cleaned deck, sealed deck and replaced furniture.
