They came out initially quickly for the estimate but then never returned.

Great!! Tech found problem and fixed and in-serviced us on how to fix solenoids in the future if they go bad, again.

When we hired them, we were very clear with our expectations and presumed that their higher price would reflect a higher quality of service. The owners were very professional and appeared to have it all together. However, the actual quality of their work was not as expected. I shared this with the owners several times and they failed to make corrective action. They would regularly scalp our yard with mower blades too short, they failed to edge around the beds and we have "creeping" grass going almost a foot into the beds and they failed to adequately clean up the beds. I spoke with the owner on several occasions and he said they would get it right but did not. They are very professional and the lady who answers the phone is very nice yet I really wished they had better quality of service.

Excellent service a work!! Linda and Tom are outstanding. They were very professional and provided excellent customer service. I made an appointment for an estimate on landscaping. Tom arrived on time and I even received a reminder call the day before. He gave me a reasonable estimate. The work was done in a reasonable time. His crew was thorough and professional. Not the lowest bid I received but it was well worth it.

We couldn't be happier! Initially, Tom Pearce came to our house and gave us his vision for renewing our 15 year old garden (front and back) along with a breakdown of the costs. This was all for FREE. No hassle, no pressure. His crew worked extremely hard for 4 solid days removing old plants that no longer were of value, trimming overgrowth and refreshing with new native plants. New beds and rock borders were created where needed. Old rock borders were rebuilt. Much of the existing landscape was kept. Pavers were added and granite path refreshed. Our rock bed drainage area was greatly improved. Tom created a privacy fence with clumping bamboo - BRILLIANT! Sprinkling system was checked and repaired/readjusted as needed. Crew was easy to work with and very willing to please us as we tweaked the plan each day. Pearce Scapes was very receptive to receiving email communication. Crew did not leave till we were 100% satisfied. Great warranty. We are really enjoying our new "view". The neighbors were inspired to also use Pearce Scapes. We highly recommend Tom Pearce and Pearce Scapes!

I am very pleased with this company. Mr. Pearce has a long history in the business and it shows. He is very professional and pleasant, as is his crew. I had several meetings with landscape contractors and Mr. Pearce is the only one who actually listened to what I wanted. His estimate was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but his plan fit my yard and my vision better than any others. After our initial meeting he presented me with a detailed drawing of the new landscape beds, walks, and plantings. He incorporated my request to use some of my existing plants in new locations as well as some hard scape materials I had available. He fully explained his recommendations for walkway materials for my sloping yard. He was open to making changes to some of the plant choices in the initial drawing and we were able to come up with alternate options that both worked in the yard and met my budget. Sprinkler costs were unknown at the time of the initial estimate but I was provided with an amount and a discussion on the specifics of the need prior to this work being started. All of my questions were answered and an additional meeting was scheduled part way through the work to review and answer questions related to the drainage systems and other clarification I needed. The end result is more than I imagined. Excellent quality in materials, plants and workmanship. Mr. Pearce required no money up front, met with me to walk through and assess after completion and presented me with a file including my drawing, itemized statement (same as the bid..no "surprise" charges), warranty info and additional instruction on watering requirements. I highly recommend Pearce Scapes and will use this company again.

They have done my yard for about 20 years

They were great. They actually came out twice so they could speak to me as well as my husband. They explained everything to me and told me the names of all the plants and everything and explained more or less exactly how they were going to do it. At this point, I'm very happy with them.

Their service is good. When other people can't do it, they will do it. They will find the problem and fix it. They include the price of the stuff they use in the bill and also list the labor it takes to repair the system. When I call them, they will do what needs to be done. Most of the time I don't see them when they come for the service They are more knowledgeable than other companies in the area. They know what they are doing.

Everything turned out great. We were really happy with what they did. They listened to what you wanted, and everything was clean and nice. We were happy with the whole landscape project. When they came back out we were not as satisfied with the job. You do not pay up front, and you do not have to pay them tell you are happy with the job. This last time they came out they did not weed and I had to have them come back out to spray the weeds and to weed. I had to call them back a few times to have them come out again. They did eventually come and get the weeds taken care of. They were not cheap, but you pay for the higher quality of work. I would use them again in the future, but I will go with someone else for the mulching and clean up.

They did everything great. We will use them again in the future if we need to.

The backyard now drains and we no longer have water collecting on our back patio. The new beds in back look beautiful. Once we turned over care to them of our yardwork last year, our yard looked great all winter, which has never happened befre. I utilized Pearce back in 2005 to landscape my front yard and install a sprinkler system for the front/back yard. Even though they can be somewhat slow at times returning your calls promptly (other times they aren't so can't explain why this happens), their end work product always exceeds my expectations and they ensure you are happy with the job. I wouldn't let anyone else but them do my yard work.

We did have to wait a short period of time for service, but when they came out, they were wonderful. They completed the job in about 4 days. They were great throughout the whole experience. Every time I wrote to them with questions, they followed up. Not only did they do a great job on the work, but the cost was fair. The follow-up was great as well. When the supervisor walked through, he found a few things he was not satisfied with (even though I was satisfied) and he had the crew come out and make more improvements. The follow-up was great. They really went the extra mile to make sure I was pleased with the work.

We got their name by word of mouth from friends at work. But while other contractors made an effort to come by for an estimate, these people took 3 weeks to come. After that there was no feedback from them on a quote for another week until I called them, only to find that it would be another 2 weeks before they would have a quote ready for a job that couldn't start for at least another month after that. We ended up stopping the whole process and going with someone else. It would have been much more professional for them to decline to bid and not waste our time.

Tom gave us an estimate for landscaping, including a sprinkler system. We had gotten estimates from 2 others. We decided that we could do the landscaping ourselves, but we needed someone to do the sprinkler system. Pearce Scapes was very competitively priced (within $5 of the other estimate). The work was done over a 3 day period. The trenches were done manually with a sharp shooter shovel. After the installation, the yard barely looked like it had been dug up. Clean up was done without any follow up on our part. Tom came out and gave us good instructions on operation of the system.
