They had a good expense, they put up a good product at the end. We had some difficulties but at the end everything turned out. We had asked for something and they priced us at something extra. They were all pleasant and friendly.

Mike came out and was very professional and had good ideas. He sent me a design, which, I liked and he was going to give me more information but I never heard back from him. I emailed several times but no answer. I really don't know what happened. Follow up: I was contacted by Mike and it looks like there was a breakdown in email communication. Everything is good now.

This is our second pool from OBPI. We worked with Lisa & Jackie on our previous pool, and first time for us working with Mike. All three are patient and professional, This time we wanted a pool with the least amount of chemistry maintenance that was energy efficient. Lisa provided us with our options on equipment, worked with our many changes on designs, and keep us updated on our budget. Mike was always available for questions and was there to oversee the project from start to finish. Jackie keep everything on schedule and answered tons of questions. Our pool was completed well within the time frame that was provided in the pool process handbook. We experienced no delays, no issues, everything went as planned. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to remodel or new build. Great group of people!!

They came out and did the right walk down. They're knowledgeable, and asked the right questions. The guy didn't have samples, but he had all the brochures and put some pretty nice designs together using Design CAD, which were easy to understand and has multiple views. They gave me three numbers for three different types of pools, and I didn't see any problems with the numbers. One was expensive, one was cheap and one was in the middle. They didn't make the first appointment but they showed up on the time the second time. They're worth looking at. I wouldn't hesitate using these guys.

This is my second OBPI pool. The team at Ocean Blue are absolute professionals. The word "patient" doesn't even begin to describe the treatment that I received from every member of the staff. I think that we went through 15 different iterations of design. Lisa and team were consummate professionals. Suggesting potential problems as well as improvements. The rendering software on the final version looks exactly like I thought it would. The pre-sales process (we had three simultaneous bids on the same design) was smooth and seamless. Mike and Ivan were with us every step of the way through the construction phases. Jackie did an outstanding job of juggling the various contractors. We did have some rain delays but OBPI's pre-work paperwork (excellent leave behind - we referred to it numerous times) warned us about that and it was totally outside of their control. The contractors were all timely and incredibly hard workers even in the middle of the Texas heat. Every person who came to do work was very cognizant of the fact that we live on a cul-de-sac and was careful to make sure that our neighbors still had access in and out of their driveways. Two of the work days fell on the day that our trash was picked up. The guys working were taking up a little extra space those days (gunite and rock for the weeping wall) but both wheeled not only ours but our neighbor's trash cans to the garbage truck to make sure that no one was inconvenienced. Great service all the way around. If we ever build again I won't bother with alternate bids. I'll just call OBPI and save myself some time and worry.

My experience was absolutely wonderful! I always knew each step of the install process because of constant communication with OBP. Mike Prince and his team were in attendance at all stages of construction and was helpful with any and all questions. Lisa Prince and Jackie in the office were a dream to work with and if I build another pool in Texas, Ocean Blue Pools will be the only call I make! I had a budget and they worked everything out and didn't try to sell me items I didn't need as several different companies tried to do when I requested estimates. Not only are they wonderful to work with but OBP takes great pride in their work and are THE true craftsman of their trade. Quality is first class.

Same as above. Rick was very professional, not pushy, but assertive enough to ask questions beforehand. His designs were spot-on with what we had mentioned in conversation.

They have done very well. The estimate was in line with what we thought it would be. He gave me some options on what I was looking for. It all happened very quick, a week for two to survey the land, discuss where it was going and deciding our options. They were immediate responses and callbacks. Imagination is the limit with them, very custom.

We had designs and bids from 3 other companies. The design concept and adhearance to our budget gained our trust initial trust. When we had feedback from friends that they did a great job on their pool and were a Christian business, we moved forward. We wanted a classic Italian sytle pool with a spa that could be seen from the kitchen and livingroom. Mike designed the pool and gave us options we had not even considered. The upper patio deck was his idea and has given us great enjoyment. We decided mid-project to add a pergola to the upper deck in Mike's design. One of his subs built the pergola to match the front of our home, and we could not be happier. We had planned to do stamped concrete; however, we are so glad that travertine pavers were available. Even in 97+ weather, it stays cool on our feet. We had it sealed and is easy to maintain with just spraying with a hose. The kids are in love with the spa as much as we are, and we are still using it in December. We took all of Mike's sugesstions and have been so glad we added remotes and lighting to our system. It's those touches that make the pool so easy to maintain. While any construction project is a process, Mike, Lisa and Jackie were a pleasure to work with and did a great job staying ontop of their crews. We have a beautiful backyard built with quality materials at a fair price which was our goal. If we ever need another pool, we will be calling Mike and Lisa at Ocean Blue Pools.

Ocean Blue Pools starting digging our pool on 10/18/12. On 10/22/12 they were setting equipment and putting the steel and plumbing in place. On 10/23/12 they were guniting. Tile and coping went in on 10/26/ and 10/27/12 and on 11/2 and 11/3/12 they were framing and pouring the deck. By 11/5/12 the pool was finished and was filling up with water. Mike Prince came and gave us a 3 hour pool school teaching us everything we need to know to take care of and run our pool. They have been fabulous answering any and all questions since the completion of the pool.

Very responsive, with a competitive price, punctual, and did everything he agreed to do (and he agreed to do almost everything we asked). Of the three bidders who responded (out of eight) he was about tied for best price (much lower than third bidder), and as responsive as any of the bidders. Mike was very helpful from the beginning. He went over the contract with us during his dinner time over the phone and explained everything to my wife. He went the extra step and agreed to make application for my landscaping, as well. He started approximately when he said he would and completed work fairly punctually. We had a significant amount of rain in July and there were delays, but the delays were generally according to expectations set out in the contract, and he finished the job quickly when his crews were able to return to work. The office staff (Jackie) was on the ball and advised us of progress or of significant upcoming milestones so we were generally aware of anything that would concern us, and Mike made a couple of additional trips to our home to address concerns with us in person. His attitude was always respectful and helpful (he was a little short with me once when I pressed him to finish earlier after the rain delays, but that was a minor thing and I think he was just being up front with me), and he was generally very truthful. He had the excavation contractor return to fix our fence, even though it was not his obligation according to the contract. Mike made some contract addendums at our request--which turned out to be moot--but there were other addenda I would do if I had it to do over again. I would ask him to make the final milestone payment upon satisfactory completion of the work and successful inspection, rather than at a final work stage, and I would make any damage to structures at the risk of Ocean Blue Pools. I held the final payment until successful completion, and OBP returned to fix my fence anyway--and they seemed fine with that, but that's not the way the contract is written. The pool looks really good in our back yard and we are very happy with it.

Ocean Blue Pools Inc. was wonderful and they were great about handling any and all issues or concerns I had. They are very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. They were a pleasure to deal with. By the time you are done building the pool you feel like you are friends. They did quality work and their price was competitive. I would be more than comfortable to recommend them to anybody and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Overall, the pool project went great. Mike, Ocean Blue's project manager, was very knowledgeable and informative. He patiently answered all of my repetitive questions. Mike was always amenable to providing how every many design plans you needed. For me he designed a new plan he never used before. There were no construction issues. All of the sub-contractors did a wonderful job considering in was averaging 99 degrees in Texas last August. I researched the materials and equipment Mike chose and they were of excellent quality. Since August 2011, I have had no warranty issues and I can still call Mike on questions on operating the equipment. The cleanup at the end was done on time and well done. Overall I was very happy with selecting Ocean Blue Pools and I have recommended them to my neighbor who will build his pool this spring.

I went with them because I did a lot of shopping around. I used to be in sales and I actually shopped in off-season, so I expected everything to be done on time and to get a lot of attention. I shopped around that time when pool companies aren't busy. I didn't go with another place because they were not getting back to me in a timely fashion and the estimate was a little high. I went to Ocean Blue because pricewise I felt like I was getting the most for my money. I didn't want just cheap, but I wanted for value. They gave me one on one service all the way through in a timely manner and everything that they dealt with me, which would be phone calls, design changes, etc. They were there with me the entire time and they were very easy to deal with, so that is why I went with them. I have no relation and never knew any of this pool guys before. They gave me the best features I wanted and I got those feature constantly done. I felt it was the best price I could possibly get anywhere. If I tell them I want something different, within an hour I would have another plan. I would recommend them to anybody and I am very particular. They were great.

They are family owned and seem to take lots of pride in their work. After certain stages, you have to get inspections done. They got this done quickly. They showed up and finished when they said they would. They listened to what we wanted and got done in a timely manner. The equipment is great, takes little maintenance, and chlorinates itself. They made one error in that they didn't raise the spa like we originally wanted, but they offered to go back and fix it with no extra cost.
