Description of Work: My water heater was 13 years old and I decided to get a replacement before the new regs kicked in and made them more expensive both to buy and install. When I was getting quotes I was initially put off by their MVP program. I don't like the idea of buying into a discount program and didn't expect to use more of their services over the next year. They insisted on an on-site estimate even though it was a routine utility room install. The guy that came out alluded to a call-out charge for the estimate. I told him that wasn't mentioned when I called and he dropped it but it felt like he/they were trying to get a quick $50. That felt kind of sleazy. | |I decided to go with them because they offered the Bradford White heater I wanted, they answered all my questions quickly and without having to go research, they could do it when I wanted and their price was as good or better than anyone else even with the MVP cost thrown in. | |The work was started on-time and done quickly. There were no hidden extra charges. I got all new flex lines and shut-off valves. Everything was cleaned up nicely. Very professional and well done job.

Description of Work: Not sure what the date was. We had a stopped up toilet. After trying simple solutions,the serviceman used a camera and found tree roots and obstruction. Cleared it. All good!

Description of Work: They did a great job in replacing shower valve. The thing I did not like they quoted me a price then a service call or I could pay $99 more for MPV membership which would give me a 15 percent off on their service and this would be for one year. The parts should have some type of warranty and there should not be a reason for them to charge the extra money. I would like to know what the part cost then labor and service call. They tell me every one is charging this way. I do not like this way. A family member has a plumbing company and he charges for part, labor and service call. He receives your top award for the best plumber for the last 14-15 years. He said he would have charged me around $170-200, at the most for the work that Milton Frank plumbing did. My bill would have been $30. more but I used the Angie's list coupon. I just feel that they are over charging their customers. Thanks

Description of Work: Came same-day to repair pipe leak under sink - good price for this, but they also found a crack in our disposal and wanted over $500 to replace it - way overpriced! Had another provider come later to replace disposal for half the price. Great for a quick small fix but watch for up sales!

Description of Work: Had a water heater leak back inAugust, service man could not find it came back 2 months later after I found the leak - replaced flex line on hot water side.

Description of Work: I asked them to conduct a backflow inspection, as required by my water supply. I was told by the water supply company this had to be done if I had a septic system, pool or irrigation system. When Milton Frank arrived, they quickly assessed the situation and very easily determined that no inspection was required since by pool was not directly tied to the water supply. When I asked how much I owed the technician, the answer was nothing. How many plumbers do you know that would take the time out of their busy day and charge you nothing. Milton Frank is who I will be using in the future and they have just found themselves a long-time customer.

Description of Work: Milton Frank performed a complete re-pipe in my home. They replaced galvanized steel pipe with PEX (and removed the old pipe), installed copper stub-outs for all fixtures/shut-offs, installed new fixtures I had purchased elsewhere, installed a new hot water heater, and handled the drywall repair and wall texturing (including some ceiling damage from pre-existing leaks). There was a bit of a delay after the initial contact, but once we began communicating, they were very responsive. I had several estimates for the work, and Milton Frank was not the least expensive, but I felt the most comfortable with them, and I'm glad I selected them for the work. They did an excellent job and I'd definitely use them, again.

Description of Work: Remodeled a bathroom. Tore out old shower and put in new shower and tore out old cabinet and sinks and put in new cabinets. Tiled around tub also.

Description of Work: Came out on two occasions and fixed leaks in galvanized piping. Most recent was an urgent call, as I had ceiling collapsed and water leaking. Fixed leak very quickly. Albeit was pretty pricy. Recommended and gave estimate for whole house re-piping, including dry-wall repairs. Unfortunately the estimate was higher than competitor chosen for the work.

Description of Work: Fixed leaking kitchen faucet, single handle style. Had to replace interior cartridge. It's been approx. a month since the repair and leak has not re-occurred.
