Milton Frank Plumbing & Cooling

It was just like clock work. We called on Friday afternoon and the plumber arrived mid morning on Monday. He called to let us know he was on his way.

I came to Houston from California to see my sick Father and soon found out his toilets were not working properly and sometimes not at all...not good. I subscribed to Angie's List so I would get a reliable referral for a plumber in the area. Everyone at Milton Frank Plumbing was considerate, professional, a very helpful. Ryan was prompt to the appointment and tried to salvage the very out of date toilets. He was able to get one toilet to work better but determined the toilets must be replaced.

The plumber called about 30 minutes before the appointment to confirm the scheduled time. He arrived during the scheduled window of time, and immediately began working on the tubs. He quickly determined how he was going to fix the problem, showed me the estimate, and began work. The work was completed with no problems. I will definitely use Milton Frank again in the future.

Professional, on time, and didn't make a mess..........the nicest guys I deal with!

They are the first to call when we have any type of plumbing issues. We have never had to call them back because they always do it right the first time. They always show up when they say they are going to. They service guys are always polite and professional.

Milton Frank is a good plumber to work with. They are reasonable and responsive to emergencies. I had them recommended to me by a neighbor who was a plumber himself but retired. Others have said they are expensive but you get what you pay for. Milton Frank has shown me quality people and quality work. I will use them again.

A leaky water heater required prompt service by a plumber. The office gave us a same day appointment and the technician showed up promptly at the arranged time. The water heater needed to be replaced and he suggested we call the original installer since it was still warranteed. Turns out that company is now merged with another and would not service the model they originally installed. Long story short, the manufacturer honored the warrantee and we arranged for the Milton Frank plumber to install the next morning. The same tech arrived right on time. He not only performed the work, cleanly and promptly....but did a minor repair to the kitchen faucet while waiting for the heater to drain. We would use this company again.. I thought the cost was a bit high for a few hours work....but then we know that plumbers are expensive!

Every thing is working as planned, no problems no regrets. Would use them over again, if I ever did a different plumbing project.

We had a problem with the drains in the master bath clogging. Milton Frank came out quickly each time and unclogged it. This time we let them put a camera in the drains to see if there was a serious problem. Also installed a new Kohler toilet that is so much better than our old builder grade toilet. They were fast, professional, and cleaned up after.

My old galvanized pipe had developed a leak, again, and need to be replaced. They arrived on time each day and completed the job in just four days. Each day they explained what they would be doing and what would have to be done. They were great about answering all my questions and addressing my concerns.

I have been using them for years. I wouldn’t use anyone else. Roger is the regular plumber that I use and he’s been great.

The work turned out very well. I would use them again.

They did okay. The water heater was fine, but the leak in one of the master bathroom sinks was never totally fixed after numerous attempts but I am now in the process of having that bathroom remodeling. I was very pleased with the water heater installation. Their technicians are very friendly.

I think this is a reputable company that does a great job fixing what ever you need. Can be pricey though. But they really make customers a priority and do their best to make you happy. I would definitely use them again.

Fantastic! It was the best $600 that I have ever spent. I was worried that they would have to take down the wall and he was bale to do it all because he understood the product so well! He even taught me how to take them apart in the future if I ever needed to.

Tom is a great guy, he really is. I would recommend these people to anyone. His daughter is coming over tomorrow to give me some recommendations on color. He is very conscious on keeping it in line and if its something he doesn't think is necessary he will tell you and let you make the decision.

They were installing the shower figures in one of the bathrooms. While installing the new bathtub water overflowed onto the floor in that bathroom. It leaked onto the ceiling below. I said it was their fault and they need to repaint the ceiling. The manager at Milton Frank said it wasn't their fault. They finally deducted the cost to fix the ceiling. When the work was done I discovered the shut off water valve to the house was broken. They were the only ones using that valve. It was covered with scratch marks and the plumbing company I called to replace it said it wasn't from normal wear!!! Not a mystery.

We smelled gas on the evening of 7/6/2010. Using the shut off valve to the cooktop did not help and we called the emergency number for our gas company. We had a leak and the next morning our landlord came to take a look. He called Milton Frank Plumbing, with whom he has had prior dealings. They were prompt, said they would be on site between 1 and 4 pm and showed up at 1:35. They performed a very professional job, however they would only speak to the landlord and not to me. Throughout the experience I kept trying to find out exactly what was going on and what they were doing. The service rep seemed to view my efforts as something of an annoyance however and, when he did answer, it was with a huge sigh, or a snarky comment. When I stated that I needed to call the gas company to have them check if there were any further leaks I was told, wrongly, that they (gas company) did not need to be called. They did, in fact, need to be called because the meter was coded as "off" and, on the next meter read, we would have been accused of stealing gas. Also, if the gas is turned on incorrectly it could lead to a whole host of issues. The gas company rep stated that if he had known that they (Milton Frank Plumbing) were going to turn the gas back on he would have taped the meter and fined the company. Needless to say I did not appreciate being treated in the manner that I was, nor was I happy that I received advice that would have gotten me fined or worse. I will, most assuredly, not recommend Milton Frank to anyone I know.

As always, Milton Frank's responsiveness is outstanding, They came on the same day I called to check a couple of leaking faucets and a slow to flush commode. They were up front about the commode-it's just the model/type and nothing will make it work any better. Were unable to find a part for another faucet handle that's worn out. But perfectly fixed the leaking faucet in master bath. Their price is high, but they do good work.

Project was done well and at cost as estimated.

WONDERFUL....of course, tankless water hearters are not cheap....but it's been 7 months now and everything works GREAT!!.

I thought the work was about average. I know the owner. The price was pretty high. We had a discussion on the work, but they resolved my complaints.

They are a very good company. The only complaint I have about them is that they are too expensive, but all plumbers are too expensive.

We'd been having a gas leak on a line that feeds some outdoor firepits in our backyard since we had some real cold weather here in Houston. Milton Frank told us it would be a $50 charge to come out. The tech came out on time and checked all the gas lines inside and out and told me he didn't find anything wrong. Then he proceeded to charge me $250 for the gas inspection. btw - we had another company out previously checking for leaks and they were there for 4 hours and charged us nothing. The tech wrote on the form that he tightened a nut to fix a leak but he told me verbally that he didn't find anything. When I spoke to the service mgr - Mark - he stated that they don't quote charges over the phone; they just tell you what the truck roll is going to cost. I believe: 1. the tech lied in his report just to say he found something because he told me multiple times the opposite, and 2. Milton Frank should have told me upfront that a gas inspection would cost ~$250 BEFORE I contracted their services. Instead they told us it was $50. I believe Milton Frank purposely misled us and that's their policy. They knew the minimum charge for an inspection would be $250. The ironic thing is I don't believe $250 is too high for the time that was spent. I just don't like doing business with people that aren't honest and upfront. Set appropriate expectations.

They did a good job. They went beyond what they should have and did servicing again.
