Description of Work: After multiple companies told me they were booked for weeks, I called Milton Frank. The lady I talked to on the phone was so nice and very professional. She told me a technician could be at my house within the next four hours. Roger arrived within 30 minutes of my phone call. He was the friendliest plumber I have ever met. It was pouring down rain when he arrived and had the courtesy to put cloth covers over his shoes when he came in to keep my floors clean. He gave me the quote up front to snake my kitchen pipes that were clogged. The process took about thirty minutes and he put everything back the way he had found it. The cost was exactly what he quoted me and I got $30 off for being an Angie's list member. I had a great experience and would recommend this company to my family and friends.

Description of Work: I wanted a garbage disposal installed. I provided the disposal. They charged $265.00. I had never had this done before, but it sounded very high, considering I only paid $89.00 for the disposal. Lowe's told me they charge $99.00. I also wanted my hot water heater flushed, as I have very hard water. When the man got up in the attic he told me the bottom was rusting out. I saw the rust and decided I would let him go ahead and install a new water heater. He gave me a price of around $900.00. This sounded Ok to me considering he would have to install it in the attic. He then tried to sell me a water softner and carbon filtering system after testing my water - and yes it did test for very hard water and lot's of chemicals. The whole thing was going to cost almost $6,000.00. I declined to get the water softner and carbon filtering system and just went with the disposal installation and the hot water heater. I did get a 50 gallon hot water heater because I don't think they had a 40 gallon one. The plumber was very nice, seemed to know what he was talking about. Gave me a pamplet on the water softner they sell. Took his time and installed everything with no mess. He explained everything to me, but without any prior experience and getting garbage disposals installed, I think I will check some other places before using them again. I think I was supposed to get a Senior discount and I had two Angie's list coupons but he said I could only use one. The paper work was mailed to me later and I don't see any of the discounts on there. I will be calling the office later to ask about that. Overall I give them a B only because I think the price of the garbage disposal was very high, especially since I bought a hot water heater from them too.

Description of Work: Milton Frank installed all new plumbing that I required for a bathroom remodel. This also required the replacement of the pipes leading to the bathroom, as they showed me where I would probably have leaks soon. They used this cool looking hose type stuff that I no longer need to worry about expansion leaks due to unpredictable cold. They also installed my Ariel Steamshower and worked with the importer to ensure that I had a perfect installation, and why we were waiting for the very crappy electrician, they hooked up a toilet at no charge since they were out there. They were more than 1/2 the cost of the company that I hired the electrician from, and frankly, I will be using no other plumbers - These guys are the best!

Description of Work: Opened bathroom sink drain & retrieved contact lens. Checked assembly & made minor adjustment for slow leak. Technician stated entire assembly may need replacing in future. For now okay. Also checked three toilets & adjusted floater. Advised that cleaning inside toilet tank is unnecessary & could present problems. I couldn't print AngiesList coupon. Plumber gave discount anyway. Service call was $48.50 + cost of new toilet floaters. I was impressed with promptness & good explanation of problem(s). And happy I got my contact lens!
