Description of Work: They installed bamboo flooring throughout my mobile home. It looked really good, but apparently the flooring in the bathroom was incorrectly installed which led to leaking around the toilet. It took several months to get corrected as they had to find someone to come out and take out the damaged planks to let the subfloor dry out before they could install the new flooring. The new installer said they should not ever glue the flooring in the bathroom but should nail it in. Then it took several months for them to come back out and install the new flooring. It has been corrected at no charge to me except for the time and inconvenience of having the floor in the bedroom and bathroom torn up over Thanksgiving and Christmas. It does look good now though.

Two crews arrived on 12/17/2013, 9 am, to install the bamboo flooring. After 30 minutes, one of the crew members informed us that another crew could not start a project in a gated community due to no one on the crew having I.D. so they had to leave to go to the gated community but another crew would come within 30 minutes. Another crew arrived at 11 am (did we get the crew that didn't have ID???...scary). Installation of the flooring was great. Installation of the baseboards was not up to our expectations. We were aware that we were to paint our own baseboards, but once installed, the work of the installers gave a horrible look to the newly installed floors. We were very disappointed of the quality of the baseboard installation, but LL tried to correct the problem. The problem we found with this was (1) the same guy that did the horrible work the 1st time was sent to correct the problem, & (2) the guys rushed due to trying to get home for the holidays (correcting baseboards on Christmas eve). Eventually to correct the problem, LL recommended installing quarter round (at no cost to us), 12/27/13. The quarter round came primed so we still have this unfinished look, new floors with unpainted baseboards & quarter round. Working with LL for purchasing was a wonderful experience. See Marlon (employee) at the 45 location. He is amazing. Working with the installation side of LL needs improvement. If I had known that I would have an unfinished look to my new flooring I would have went with another company. LL does not paint baseboards or quarter round. After this long process, we are having to paint or have someone paint the baseboards (because more had to be installed to correct the problems) & quarter round.
Description of Work: purchased bamboo flooring & baseboards from Lumber liquidators. LL also installed the flooring, baseboards, & quarter round.

We started contacting the Lumber Liquidators scheduler, Nathan. had him come by to see what needed to be done and made a date in late June for the installers to come do all of the work needed. No one came and no one called. I had to call them to start the process over again. We have been stood up by installers three times in the last four months, have made countless phone calls to reps, including Adrian, the manager, from Lumber Liquidators, have been by the Spring store at 21755 N Freeway to get materials needed, check on the status of someone coming, etc. On one occasion, one of the installers' crew came by and cut transition pieces for three of the needed four. He scratched a board while removing the old transition so that piece is not glued or fastened down but is in place until the scratched board can be replaced. On another occasion, two members of the install crew came by and looked at everything that needed to be done. Said they would be back Monday. That was two weeks ago and we have not heard anything. The entire process from the installation of the floor to now has been four months.
Description of Work: After purchasing natural strand bamboo hardwood, quarter round (natural and white), natural bamboo transition molding and accessories for four rooms in our house, from the Lumber Liquidators at 21755 N Freeway in Spring, the installers came. They worked for only two days and were finished. This was the first wood flooring we had ever had in a house, so we didn't know quite what to expect. The day after the install, I noticed glue smudges left on the floor, everywhere. Also, three transitions had been installed with cracks in them, one transition was scratched from the installers rolling a heavy tv over it, three other boards had defects and had been installed anyway, two places were creaking when weight was put on them and needed to be reglued, one piece of quarter round was defective but had been installed anyway and one piece of quarter round had not been glued and was loose.

Their pricing is very good. They seem to have good subcontractors but we are disappointed in the actual wood product that they recommended. We are having issues with it. It’s under warranty and we’re working with them. They are sending out somebody to look at the floor this week but the floor has shown more wear that we think is normal for a wood floor. They recommended this bamboo because they said it was the hardest floor. We have animals and we told them all that upfront. We wanted their recommendation on what would be a good hardwood floor to put down and it’s showing a lot of discoloration. It is not moisture related because they asked us to put a moisture barrier down. They are working with us. I can’t say that they haven’t been responsive to our claim, they have. We just don’t know how it’s going to be resolved yet.
