I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chris is one of the most pleasant people you could ever meet. His professionalism and courtesy are both very refreshing and were very much appreciated. He was very knowledgable and quickly had me a quote, a timeframe and then proceeded to follow through with everything he had communicated. He arrived on time, did an excellent job and then went on to give the whole garage door service which was above and beyond what I expected. Stand up guy, very personable and did quality work keeping me informed at all times. I would and will recommend Legacy for any and all work I have or know of in the future. One of the best service experiences I've ever had.

Chris was running late due to road closures and he called to let us know. He was very polite and explained everything he did. He offered suggestions for upgrading our system without pressure. I would highly recommend legacy garage door company.

Chris was great I contacted him and he returned my call promptly. He was able to come out the next day. When he arrived he was very nice and professional he took a look at my garage door and was able to tell me the issue, he quoted me a fair price and started the repair right away and the service did not take a long time to complete. I am very pleased with his service and I highly recommend him!

The service was prompt and thorough. I got new nylon rollers and he straightened my tracks, tightened my chain, and tuned up my motor as well as lubricating the whole system. He also showed me how to keep my door lubricated in the future. My door is now quiet and I'm so glad it finally got it fixed. I wish I would have done it months ago. I will add it was refreshing to work with someone who didn't try to upsell you on new products.

I highly recommend Chris Nash/Legacy Garage Doors and was very pleased with the quality of service provided and his professionalism.
Description of Work: On 09-19-2017 Chris Nash [Owner/Operator] of Legacy Garage Doors installed a new Liftmaster ½ HP Chain Drive Garage Door Opener Model # 8365-267 for our 7’ high 16’ wide steel panel garage door. The charge was $325.00 for all labor and materials. What was included in the price was the garage door opener; (Liftmaster 8365-267 - Premium Series 1/2 HP AC Chain Drive for 7ft Doors - including rail and chain), 2 remote controls #893LM, 1 keypad for the interior of the garage #882LM, 1 keypad for the exterior #877LM, photo eyes (light sensors) to keep garage door from closing if obstruction breaks the infrared beam while the door is closing. The opener also has a safety reversal system. Chris inspected the door for safety; lubricated the rollers and door hinges, added tension to torsion springs, lubricated springs and helped me program the exterior keypad code and explained the operation. A note about chain drive versus belt drive. Belt-drive openers are identical to chain-drive openers except that they operate with a rubber belt. Belt drives are the quietest type of garage door opener. Our garage is detached; therefore noise is not an issue. However, even though we had a belt drive and replaced it with a chain drive; I have not noticed an increase in noise.

Description of Work: Garage spring replacement including tune up. From start to finish, Chris was excellent and very professional. He quickly responded to my questions via the Angie's List app, then later via text and phone. He was prompt, fast and thorough which was nice since my appt coincided on the Friday that most people were preparing for Hurricane Harvey. I mostly stayed in the garage with Chris as he replaced my spring and did the tune up. I found out that Legacy Doors is his business and that he's been in the garage door business for 15 years since graduating HS. He's very ambitious in this field and is trying to increase his client base. To stay current with the latest technology associated with garage doors he attends trainings. Therefore, he has the know-how to add features such as speakers, etc. and I think Smartphone/WiFi features. During the spring replacement and tune-up he took time to educate me about the maintenance of my garage door and average life cycle. He told me what I needed to do monthly to help increase the life of my garage door and its components, as well as the type of lubricant to purchase - not typical WD-40. He was also impressed/surprised that my garage door rollers were already upgraded which I believe is something that he would normally recommend. His payment process was simply a swipe of my credit card and e-signature then the receipt and warranty info was immediately sent to my e-mail. He also verbally went over the warranty and to call him if I had any issues. Overall, I was impressed with Chris's professionalism and would highly recommend him.

Chris worked with my availability and scheduled my appointment when it was convenient for both of us. Chris called an hour prior to the scheduled time to confirm and arrived on time. After the garage door spring was installed Chris performed an inspection of the entire garage door and recommended that I replace the rollers. The quote to replace the rollers was extremely reasonable so we agreed to have the work done. I am satisfied with the work that Chris performed and I would recommend his services to anyone that needs work performed on a garage door.
