Description of Work: Kitchen remodel- new door faces-new granite counter tops- cabinet painting inside and outside.

Description of Work: Original start date had to be moved. Granite sub made a mess of backsplash removal, took 2 days longer than original projection. Looks OK now.

Description of Work: Reface cabinets. Did not go well. The wood that was used was never sealed (?). There are many defects around the top edges of the cabinets. The contractor came out to investigate but could not determine the problem. We were very dissatisfied. This work was done in 2011.

Description of Work: We hired Remodeling Depot to refinish our kitchen cabinets, install backsplash, new granite, and new appliances in the kitchen. In our spare bathroom, we had new cabinets built, counter tops, sinks, and flooring installed. It looks just like a new house. The cabinet work is excellent! I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We had our master bath, shower, tub surround and double sink vanity redone in cultured marble. The cultured marble ,sub contractor that was used..Houston Cultured marble owner is Luna. The sinks and veining were very good, however when completed the installer caulked all in white, the color of the marble was beige. We asked they caulk in a matching color. He came back and caulked OVER the white caulk. We contacted the sales rep who told us this particular "mom and pop" cultured marble sub was the ONLY cultured marble company around , that ALL the others had closed. ANd that he had to call around and that is when he found them. SO then the same installer came back , with the owner of Remodeling Depot and he recaulked. The caulking job was sloppy, it is peeling off in some areas and the installed soap dish is cracked. Additionally we discovered they lied when they said the other marble companys were closed. We found them and they are still in business, ALso , Remodeling depot didn't just call around and find these people to do our bathroom, they have been using them "for years". Due to the sloppy caulking work, Telling us they were using plumbers ( also not true) and lying to us about the other marble companys being closed we would not use them again and certainly would not recommend them.

Description of Work: Kitchen was done only. Removal work: Old laminate counters, cabinets, cooktop vent, backsplash, sink and faucets and suspended lighting fixture. Installation work: I did my own research and purchases. I had most items shipped directly to my house for the renovation. Installation included: new Silestone counters for kitchen and connected bar, beach glass tile backsplash, extensive under-cabinet lighting, new sink and faucet set and an Italian chimney-style vent hood. Renovation required patching of wallboard, rebuilding of a soffit to support the vent hood, extensive wiring of electrical switches and new outlets. The wall and cabinet work got new paint to match the existing colors. All fabrication and fitting was done outside on my driveway with the contractors equipment and tools. The 4 man crew used paper to keep floors clean and cleaned the workspace daily. They had to buy new tools to cut my special order glass tiles but did not change their overall quoted price.
