+ -1 morewe i initially called he told me that if he was able to come by on that day that he would but it would probably be the next morning. much to my surprise he was able to come and it took all of an hour to replace the heating element. he was very courteous, professional, and gracious. i will call him for any of my future appliance repairs. although he isn't a member of angie's list, he certainly should be but but i understand the cost per year is expensive and apparently he doesn't need the extra work. great guy!

+ -1 moreMr. Kinard was great! He kept me posted as to arrival time, he was very professional. Before he put the dryer back together, I was given the full cost of the repair. I take care of my dryer, cleaning lint and dust every time and have the vent cleaned twice a year. I could not believe all the junk he pulled out of the machine! I would definitely use him again.
Description of Work: Examined LG dryer and found problem with electrical board and drum wheels. Checked LG washer and found source of drainage problem.

+ -1 moreMr. Kinard was very professional. He assessed the situation and was able to resolve the problem. He setup a time for our service visit and came on time. We were very pleased with the service and plan to call him again if we have problems with our appliances.
Description of Work: Dishwasher did not drain or clean properly. Since it was only a couple of years old, we decided to call someone to diagnose the problem and repair if possible. We found Mr. Kinard on Angies list. Mr.Kinard determined that the pump was not working properly. He had a replacement pump with him and was able to replace the pump within an hour.

+ -1 moreHe came over on on a Saturday morning, even though this is not usual. He said he thought I might not have anything to cook with. He said he was sorry but the cook top was so old that the only place they might have parts was in Japan and, if they did, it would take 6 - 8 weeks to get them. He offered to come over on the next Monday and take me to find another one. Then he turned it back on and it was working again! T he only thing we could figure out was that one or more of the connections was loose. He said that he'd be glad to install a new one when I needed it without charging me anther service call fee if I go anther cook top in a reasonable amount of time.
Description of Work: He checked my electric panel to make sure it was operating properly. He removed my induction cook top and called to see if there were any parts to fix it with. He reinstalled the cook top.

However I think it was a fair price especially with the professionalism , Mr Kinard came out the same day, hours after I called him, he was pleasant, identified the problem and fixed it within an hour. I will definitely use him again.

Description of Work: My dryer had been in storage for 7 months and upon taking it out of storage it would not work. Mr. Kinard showed promptly at the time discussed and within minutes was able to tell me the problem and the cost to repair. Within an hour's time the dryer was fixed. Mr. Kinard did not leave until he knew the dryer was working as it should.

Description of Work: When my washer went out, I called several companies and most of them charged a $75.00 diagnostic charge. Several would not even apply that to the bill if I had them to do the work. Mr. Kinard, on the other hand, charged $50.00 diagnostic charge and said he would apply it to the bill, if I had him do the work. He came out the next day and was on time, polite, and courteous. Within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem. With parts and labor, it was going to be about half of what a new washing machine would be. He said he'd be happy to fix it for me, but in his opinion (given the fact that the machine was 13 years old), he'd put that money towards a new machine. So after thinknig it over, I decided he was right and bought a new machine. It was so refreshing to have someone give me an honest opinion. I will always call Mr. Kinard again if I ever have an appliance break down again!

He is always there to repair our equipment and does a very good job at that. His professionalism and customer service are very good too.

+ -1 moreHe installed a new harness and went out of his way to provide good service. I know he had to go across town to get the harness, but he didn't charge me the trip across town to get the parts. The whole harness has to be replaced in order to get the one burner to come on. He could have easily charged me more labor, but he didn't.
Description of Work: He worked on a cooktop; one of the burners wouldn't turn on.
