tv repair
 + -1 moreThe tech arrived at the appointed time, diagonesed the problem and repaired the TV within 45 minutes of arriving. As a result I did not have to deliver the TV (52") to a shop and wait for days for it to be repaired. Overall a positive experience.
Description of Work: Four year old 52" TV was showing small white dots in the screen. J&K came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 45 minutes of arriving.

small appliance repair
 + -1 moreThey were terrible. As described above, they left my microwave in worse shape than they found it. The repairman broke my machine and then could not fix his mistake, and I strongly suspect he never tried. The afternoon receptionist, while unfailingly polite, can only focus on the task directly in front of her, so once she puts you on hold she forgets all about you, and will never call you back even if she says she will. I finally retrieved my machine more than three months after I originally took it to J&K, completely unusable.
Description of Work: I took them my microwave to repair, as the problem was electrical, my turntable no longer turned and the light did not come on, but the machine still cooked. J&K were the factory authorized repair facility in Houston. They said they would have it done in ten days. Two weeks went by. I called to check up on it, no work done. After a month they said it was finished. I paid for the repair, took my microwave home, and it didn't work at all. I took it to back them to fix and after two months of repeated phone calls, they still had not worked on it, so I picked it up unrepaired.
