I DIDN'T USE THEM.

Called regarding a toilet leak and shut off valve that was not working properly. I originally made calls to area plumbers related to replacement of the valve and anticipated replacement of toilet wax ring and probably the flange for price estimates. All were higher than I expected, Hildebrandt's pricing was within the ranges of what I was being quoted. After inspection, John suggested I also consider replacement of the toilet which was original to the house (35yrs), which I agreed to. Cost increased of course. Everything was completed same day, clean up complete.

I haven't had a lot of experience with them. I've used them only once and I thought the cost was a little excessive, but he did a good job. I thought it was about twice the price of what it should've been. I solicited work from about four or five other companies, but he was the only one that was available and to come out. He also gave me a bid on another job that I had to re-plumb my whole house, which was the wall, ceilings, and everything, but he was a high bidder and another company did it. I'd give him a chance to bid again, but he probably wouldn't get it if charges everything like that.

Our guest bathroom shower had no hot water, this was right before Christmas and my family was coming over to stay with us (which required hot water in the guest shower). I called Hildebrandt plumbing last minute and scheduled an appointment. They were able to schedule an appointment very quickly, and came out and fixed it. He provided a cost estimate before he began any work, and the actual price was at the very bottom of the price range. After he fixed the hot water, he took the time to walk me through the plumbing on my house (i.e., how to turn the water off to the house, how to do simple repairs and what to look for when problems arise). In my opinion this is above and beyond what was expected, but it was great customer service. All in all, I would say that this was an exceptional experience. I needed a quick response, I needed hot water, I needed an estimate of the cost, and I got all of that plus the low end of the price range in addition to a walk through - I highly recommend Hildebrandt based upon this experience and plan to use them for any future plumbing needs.

They were great! We called him in the late afternoon and he came right over and fixed the problem quickly. He did a great job! Even at a last minute the price was still very reasonable.

They were all expensive. He advertises in our little neighborhood newspaper thing. All plumbers are expensive.

I received an immediate response from the company and they delivered excellent quality work. The workers were conservative and the price was very reasonable. They completed the repair work with in one day.
