I called Gossett in the morning and left a message. My call was returned within 40 minutes. Jose Gonzalez, the tech, was at my house 30 minutes later. The outside fan motor was the problem. Jose was professional, respectful, and gave me my options. I decided to buy a completely new unit. I was not pressured to do so and Jose worked tirelessly in 100° heat to get the fan running long enough to cool the house down. Unfortunately, the motor kept cutting off. Jose was able to schedule installation for the next day. The installers, Edgar and Luis, arrived early in the morning and covered my floor first thing. Again, it was 100°, but they remained professional and courteous. They worked continuously until the job was done, cleaned up, and gave me the paperwork. The office staff, Michelle and Veronica, were very friendly and helpful. If I could give a 10 star rating, I most certainly would! Thank you, Gossett.

He arrived before noon and quickly isolate do the problem. He replaced a part and AC was up and running within :15. He answered questions about condition of unit and provided an estimate for a new unit at my request. He was not pushy and did not try to sell additionally services.

I want to start by saying I called in and spoke with Michelle at the office, her title seems to be office manager, but she coordinated the entire sale for me. I called 5 AC companies and had in house bids for 4 of them, the prices ranged from about 7500.00 to over 26K. I was very impressed with the level of service Gossett provided. They spent time explaining what I needed and why they were recommending the products. I asked some technical questions and they had one of their tech's who has been with them 29 years call me personally to make sure I had the right answers. On install day, the crew arrived promptly at 9am and started the install, they were professional and stayed focused all day. I was very impressed at around 1PM the owner, Chuck, showed up at my house just to make sure everything was going as planned and he spoke with each of the guys as well. If you do any research you will find the system I purchased is pretty technical, so I was even more impressed of the installer's knowledge and getting it right the first time. Gossett was not the most or east expensive but it was the best service anyone could ask for. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an AC company.

We originally called Gossett Air Conditioning on the recommendation of our contractor when we moved into our home. We were experiencing problems with a loud screeching noise at the air intake, uneven heating and cooling, and other problems. They came to our home were so nice and took such care to protect our new hardwood floors. They diagnosed our problems and presented us with various options to correct the issues. They did not try to "sell " us anything. We chose the solutions that seemed best to us and fit our budget. The work was completed and we were very satisfied with the whole experience. From beginning to end the office was in close contact with us to make sure that we knew exactly when the work would be done and worked with us to on scheduling while we were in the process of moving. This was by far the BEST experience we have ever had with an air conditioning company. We we will call them for our future needs.

Gossett Air rep came to install a thermostat as we were updating the equipment. Rep was punctual. He installed quickly. I was quoted $149 for installation prior to arrival, but Rep corrected the price to $89 at visit. This is the 2nd time I've used this company. Will continue to use in the future.

Overall good experience--have had them for repairs and inspections a few times and all good.

We called Gossett to have our air conditioning serviced and they were able to come by the same day I called. The lady arranging the appointment even told me of an online coupon I could get to save $10. The technician who came arrived on time and was professional and friendly. He checked our air conditioner and recommended adding freon, which we had him do. Overall, a good experience. I would use this company again.

I have an older home and this past winter when one of our bedrooms wasn't receiving any heat, I had Gossett come and investigate. I used a local business instead of contracting a larger company in the nearby metropolis of Houston because I believe in promoting local economy in the small community in which I live. In only one work day, Gossett's professionals replaced the entire ductwork with new collars, installed new mixing boxes, and hung all ductwork in our attic bringing it up to code. Previously, the ductwork was just lying on the attic floor. Their work was professional, efficient, and courteous. They did a marvelous job of preparation (keeping my existing floorings covered during their work), clean-up and hauling away. Now, not only are we up to code, but we enjoy worry-free heating and air conditioning. I also might add that my heating and a/c costs have significantly been reduced! Before the work, I had probably been furnishing heating and a/c to my attic!! I have used Gossett in the past (prior to belonging to Angie's List) and will continue to use them in the future. I highly recommend Gossett Air Conditioning and Heating of Spring, Texas!!!

Everything was handled in a professional manner. Price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but the warranty being provided is worth the extra cost, plus the equipment being a Trane has a high reputation.

I had vents in two rooms that kept getting moldy despite repeated cleaning. I called someone to check my ductwork. The tech found a crack in my heater and shut it off; he said I needed a new heater and my ducts cleaned. I got estimates from two more companies. Each tech told me something different with respect to the repairs needed; one tried to get me to sign on the spot in order to take advantage of a special they were running. In frustration, I called Gossett, hoping they would at least agree with what one of the other techs had told me. Two techs from Gossett arrived on time and were very professional in appearance and demeanor. They checked the vents, ductwork, heater and a/c (inside and out) and then had me go into the attic where they showed me the problems they had found. They said my heater and a/c were 28 years old, which I already knew. They offered me three options: (1) The cheapest: Install a new heater and clean the existing coil (but warned the cleaning process might destroy what was left of the coil because of its age and condition); (2) The second cheapest: Install a new heater and a new coil that would work with my existing a/c (but warned if my existing a/c died and had to be replaced, I would have to buy yet another new coil); (3) The most expensive: Install a new heater and a new a/c, including a new coil . My existing coil was so moldy, they felt that was the cause of the moldy vents and did not think I needed to have my ductwork cleaned. I chose option 3 and asked for an estimate. They gave me 3 options and price points for a heater and 3 for an a/csystem, the price points being tied to the energy efficiency of the units. They explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. I was pleased that their answers matched the research I had done. I was so impressed with them, I signed on the spot to purchase the mid-range heater and the top a/c unit we had discussed. They installed them a few days later with no muss or fuss. They also replaced a couple of small sections of ductwork and resealed and rerouted some others for improved air flow. They came back (unprompted) a few weeks later when the weather warmed up to be sure the freon was moving thru the a/c system correctly. Sor far, it seems they were right about the moldy vents; I have seen no more mold. I was very pleased with the entire experience and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I had several people come out and they were the best. I am happy with them. They are prompt and I feel comfortable that they aren't telling me something that isn't true. I do feel that their price is a teeny bit high.

They did a good job with the installation. They installed the unit ninety degrees off of the way it was designed to be, and everything works fine it just looks funny.

Our old AC units were on their "last legs". We had multiple companies come out and do repairs...fixing each other's mistakes. Finally I called Gossett for an estimate to replace everything and the lady at Gossett who answered the phone was very professional and knowledgeable. She did not try to "sell" and provided an accurate quote very quickly over the phone. I called her back the next day to schedule the installation. Two days later, the entire Trane HVAC systems were replaced within a few dollars of the original quote she provided over the phone. A few months later one of the AC units was not working properly. I sent Gossett an email at 10 P.M. on a Sunday to request the repair and their repairman was on site Monday A.M. at 8:30...next day! They fixed the issue in an hour and have not had any problems since.

We called (ARS) to come out to our home for a replacement of the blower wheel on our a/c which was vibrating very badly. We were told by a friend in the business that this was a very common repair, as the wheels sometimes get out-of-round with time. Instead all we got was a $59.00 service fee for a repairman who refused to do the repair, spouted a multitude of reasons why it couldn't be done, and left us with a $5k quote for a new system, which is free according to their website!?!?!? We then called Gossett, and they gladly replaced the wheel. There were no excuses or imaginary complications to force us into a $5K sales deal.

The man from Gossett Air Conditioning told me why my air conditioner wasn't getting cold, so after he filled it with freon, he told me to use it and have it serviced in six months. It's only been two months, but I will have him service it because he put the original unit in for me and he does an excellent job. His prices are very reasonable, he's honest, dependable and professional. I would highly recommend him to other people.

Gossett's Air Conditioner Service does a great job. We have used them for a few years now. They installed the electric static filters in our system, and keep the system operating properly. On a yearly basis they come, and do the regular maintenance like cleaning the system, and replacing and cleaning the filters. They also check everything over to ensure there will be no problems. This company is very efficient, and I am always pleased with their services, and their prices are reasonable.
