Fast Contractors had quoted me a reasonable price, the men who showed up for the quote were timely and friendly, and Richard was polite on the phone, calling me every other day to see if I was ready to move on the project. Once I said yes and paid the down payment, they went silent. I reached out to them many times via email and phone calls and failed to hear anything back for three weeks. At the end of three weeks I called the credit card company and was very happy to hear that they were willing to issue me a full refund. If it were not for that, I would have had to call a lawyer or written off $1700. Neither is an acceptable end to what should have been a simple job.

This company was recommended to me, but I now regret hiring them to replace part of my concrete driveway. The project started weeks late. The demo crew broke my lawn sprinkler pipes & wiring, and never told me or the prep crew. The prep crew then broke my water supply pipe. They fixed the pipes, but couldn't fix the wiring. I had to hire a plumber myself to ensure the water pipe was repaired correctly because their repair was suspect. The front office never told the prep crew that we had decided weeks earlier not to do pavers, so part of my lawn was removed for no reason. Once the concrete was poured & drying, they asked for full payment & promised to come back & clean all debris & rake my yard. I stupidly paid them & they've never come back (this was a month ago). They have ignored my calls, voicemails, texts, & emails, even though I have remained polite & haven't contacted them incessantly, as many people would in my place. Our contract requires them to clean up all debris, but they refuse to honor that. Thus, I now have to pay somebody else to clean up all of the debris, piles of sand, bits of concrete in my yard, as well as fix my sprinkler system & repair the lawn (which hasn't been properly watered in a month).
