I called Expo after I noticed my a/c wasn't cooling my house. It was almost 6:00pm on a Friday. I was very concerned that it was too late for a service call and would likely be without air conditioning for the evening, possibly the weekend. The person who answered the phone at expo was very nice and explained that they would try to get a tech to my house that evening but most likely it would be in the morning. He said the tech would follow up with me soon. Approximately an hour later the technician called and asked if he could come by in 20 minutes. Sean (the tech) arrived at the time he specified was very friendly. He looked at the ouside unit and concluded the capacitor needed to be replaced. He had the part and was able to fix it in 20 minutes. He then asked it he could wash off the unit because it has leaves and other debris on it. Afterward when discussing the total he was apprehensive about charging me for a service call since it wasn't discussed on the phone during the initial appointment. I explained I was MORE then happy to pay it considering it was 8:00pm on a Friday. I was ecstatic with the service, the price, Sean washing the unit, and very grateful they fixed it on short notice. I would certainly use Expo again and will forward the company information to my friends and family. I would also recommend requesting Sean. Great experience!

Spotted minor problem and offered both services, and advice on solution. If the low cost solution(me doing it myself) I will certainly call him back to implement the more costly one. He was up-front, professional, and courteous. He very easily could have sold ma a bill of goods and I would not have known differently.

my upstairs unit has overflow issue and water in the pan that often shuts down the unit. I want the guy to find out what has caused the problem and resolve it. He said the drain line was clogged and would cost 175 to get it unclogged. I said ok but wanted the work done properly with warranty, as I had one guy before him who did nothing but charge the system with 20gal of Freon, and the problem remained. He then changed his mind and decided it was a plumbs job. The issue I now have is that the line has been unclogged but the problem remains.

Sean Turner called me 30-minutes before he showed up on one of the dates that I selected when I purchased the online "deal." (I'm writing this, because most companies usually call a day before to confirm an appointment). Anyways, he came within 30-minutes of the phone call and provided tune-ups to my A/C units. He told me that my units were old and that he recommended replacing the hard start kits and run capacitors. Honestly, I didn't expect to pay an additional $600 dollars that morning, but my A/C units are 12 years old and the old parts looked rusted and worn out. I bit the bullet and went ahead and had him replace the old parts, since I didn't want to chance having a broken A/C unit in Houston! Overall, the tech wasn't pushy and gave me his honest recommendation and I respect that. I can't comment on whether or not the price was good, but I feel like the tech provided professional service.

Jubran Twal is the person I dealt with from start to finish. He was very responsive, professional and great to deal with. I felt he gave me true and straight forward answers to my questions. He checked everything out carefully, told me how much it would cost and when they could complete the work. Jubran kept me informed along the way and he was respectful of my home. When it came time to have the work done, Jubran met the technicians at my home, gave them instructions and then he returned just prior to the work being completed and inspected the work. Overall, it was a great experience and I would use this company again.

It went great, the service man was very professional and honest!

The technician was knowledgable, very professional, patient and presented a written list of non-standard issues and problems from the initial installation from a different A/C business on 9-23-14. Emergency drain pipe, black poly instead of PCV, and not In compliance with TDLR code. During the initial installation the same line was kinked to route to the AC instead of using the proper right angle fitting. Very poor workmanship! The kink caused the emergency over flow line to malfunction. Consequently, the drip pan filled up and the emergency shutoff switch was activated. Furthermore, a potential fire hazard existed since the wiring was spliced to the old AC cord plugged in the electrical outlet and the wires of the new unit in the open instead of connected to the new unit inside with a new plug as per Texas code. In addition, this same "outfit" forgot to turn my gas back on after installing the A/C unit last September and I had to call them back out for that. I called the A/C business responsible for this mess and, while far from a "happy camper" the technician/ owner fixed the problems por gratis. Moral of story: Don't look outside of Angie's list for professional technicians and craftsmen.

Found out our AC stopped working 6pm the night before, contacted Expo heating & cooling via Angie's list right away; they responded back in an hour and arranged tech to come in today at 9am; we were very impressed by that and they care about their customers--In the Houston heat we wouldn't last a day without AC. Sean arrived on time and is very professional. Took him 20 minutes to diagnosed and fixed the issue. He also worked with my home warranty company to help me reimburse the cost. We are very happy with the service we got and we will definitely use them again!

Great service and great advice. The person is professional and honest. He recommends improvements on the system and clearly stated that it didn?t need anything to run properly, but that we could make the AC to run more efficiently and save energy. Perfect service.

Provider was punctual and came to my home with less than an hours notice. Provider listened to all of my concerns. Provider issued me a letter of inspection results and made appropriate recommendations for my follow-up. No pressure was applied to purchase additional services. Price through Angies list was very reasonable - $49.95. Provider was agreeable to placing me on a list for an inspection next year.

Came out when scheduled, told me that air handler was not repairable, needed to replace so no Freon was added. Quoted ~$4k for new air handler or ~$6k for new system. I called another provider who came out fixed the problem with the air handler, recharged the system and a/c works fine.

We took advantage of an Angie's List deal and had Expo inspect our AC, as it was not running properly. It would rarely cycle off, and would not cool the house below 77*. We were hopeful that it just needed additional freon. Sean called to let us know he was on his way. He was polite, professional, even took his shoes off when he came in the house. He was unable to find anything wrong with the unit, even calling his boss to talk with him. After Sean left, he called Trane and gave them all of the information from his inspection. Trane said the compressor was bad; Sean called me back to relay this information. That's truly caring about the customer. I wish I could have used Expo to replace the compressor, but we had a home warranty that we needed to take advantage of. Fortunately though, Expo warned us about making sure that all of the freon was flushed and replaced; using old freon could cause future damage. The vendor I had to use through my warranty provider tried to only replace part of the freon.

It went well and will use them again.

It was good. They did a good job. There were no extra charges on the "Big Deal" I purchased.

It was okay. It wasn't what I expected based on there referral from Angie's List. It was part of a promo. There was an additional 200 dollars on top of the Big Deal. The technician was nice but lacked professionalism.

The only thing that I thought was I'm a retiree and I didn't necessarily appreciate them coming in looking for additional money. The service was fine, the person was polite. I didn't consider it unusual because I've been having problems with plumbing but I ended up having these other people instead because this is emergency. The people that are coming from Angie's List say it will be for 2-3 days. The person who arrived at the door was neatly dressed in uniform so for this area that's good service.

Very professional, although it turned out we couldn't just add the freon that was included in the 65.00 A/C check service as our entire unit had to be replaced. I would recommend this company and would have used them to replace the A/C except they didn't provide any financing and we didn't have 7K to pay for the A/C unit repair.

From the start, Expo was very professional and responsive for the work that I had requested. Within 1-day from the time I purchased the deal, I had someone ready to discuss additional details and schedule the work in a short period of time. The technician who came was extremely knowledgeable and willing to walk through what he was finding at each step along the way. He was not at all "going through the motions", but was determined to checkout the complete system and find out what was wrong. To further understand, he even went back and looked at prior AC companies maintenance notes (my hardcopy notes from prior repairs) to find out what had been done in the past. He was refreshingly honest about his assessment versus prior other company technicians based on their comments. He did identify several problems with our unit beyond the basic service that needed to be repaired (capacitor, hard-start, low freon). However, at no time did I feel I was being upsold, as he explained his findings and why he believed they had failed based on evidence. To complete his visit, I received a detailed typed report / checklist of each component he had checked and his findings/repairs/status. I thought this demonstrated a great understanding of the full system as well as far more readable then then hardwritten notes from other company's prior repairs. He also reviewed with me the expected performance of our machines so we know when we should have our units checked again. Before he left, the report was already emailed to me so I could have it on record and he confirmed the unit was cooling better before he left. I believe Jubran and Expo went way above-and-beyond what I would have expected in terms of providing a quality of service. I would recommend them to anyone. My family appreciates having improved AC again!

Expo was prompt and very helpful when helping us with our air conditioning units. We were experiencing issues with the air not being as cold as it should be. Our technician was very thorough and discovered a big issue our unit was having. I really appreciated him taking the extra time (in a scorching hot attic) to be thorough and helping resolve our problem. We did opt to install a starter kit on our units as well. I would definitely use this company again. I thought they were helpful, professional and a good value for services performed.

Arrived on time and conducted the work outside and in the attic quickly and efficiently. Upon completion a through report was sent to my e-mail account for review.

The technician was professional, knowledgable, and personable. When he arrived he asked the location of the unit we were having trouble with. Of course my husband hit him with a slew of questions which the tech had no problems with answering. He educated us about our current units compaired to what else is in the market (not in a sales pitch kind of way). This deal was pretty great considering most companies charge $75/lb of freon as well as a service fee. We will definitely use this reputable company in the future.
