We always hire Dempsey Family Electrical for all our electrical projects. They are consistent in providing high quality electrical work. They understand electrical issues and complete projects on time, clean up afterward, and the result of their electrical work is always outstanding.

They came out to fix the work that was done by the first company. They have been so kind and gracious knowing that the work was going to be expensive. They were budget conscious as well.

The service was phenomenal. They came the next day and checked the damaged The quote is a thousand dollars cheaper than the competitor. They sent 3 men team and had the job in one day. They were a great a company to work with.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This is and should be rated a 5 STAR COMPANY ALL DAY LONG. I have been using Dempsey since 2004 to do electrical work around my house. Recently I had them install LED lights in my den, LED panel in my laundry room and a whole home surge protector. Chris Cloyd did a great job, and the results were impressive! This company is reliable, competent and very aggressive on pricing. Richard Dempsey is to be congratulated on running a tight ship! I wouldn't use anyone else. As I said before, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dempsey Electric, particularly Brett (our office contact) and Jack (our master electrician), went above and beyond with this project. Every piece of wire in the house and garage is new and done to meet or exceed electrical code, to the point where the city inspector said "you went above and beyond." The work took about 3.5 weeks to complete, while the house was empty. Throughout the process, they communicated frequently with us about how we wanted things done, issues they were finding, and what they were up to in the house. Seeing some of the wiring "surprises" left by the previous owner, we are very happy to have had the rewire done, and seeing the extremely high quality of Jack's work from start to finish convinced us we picked the right provider. During the project, the only scope creep / cost additions were things my wife and I decided to add (can lights, exterior accent lights, surge protector), and while the work took a little longer than originally estimated, I did not have an issue with it given the challenges encountered once the walls were opened up and the true mayhem of 30 years of amateur electrical work was unveiled. After completion, everything in the house works as it should. Overall, we are highly satisfied with Dempsey Electric and would recommend them for similar projects. Their cost is somewhat higher than other big companies, but in the end I do not believe the work could have been completed properly and with the level of customization requested for any less than we paid. Their work was of very high value to us and we would not hesitate to hire them again if we had to start over.

They were on time and finished when they said and cleaned up.

This time he gave me an invoice of over $280 but told me not to pay it until he returned. After he did not show up for over a week and a half, I called and spoke to his supervisor and his supervisor said he would get him out the next day.... another week went by. Now we are on our third week, I have contested the first $181 charge to my Discover Card and I have another company out here who said they will fix it or I will not pay.

I've been using them for years, and I've always had a good experience. They're trustworthy, do quality work, and charge fair prices. I would highly recommend them.

I had a list of things to do from my home inspection. I called and spoke to a nice gentleman who discussed the issues with me. He then said one of his guys will call me to setup apt. That did not happen for several days so I followed up via email thru angies list. Till this day I have not heard back. I got 2 other companies to come out for quote. One is very responsive and we will be using their service.

Roger arrived promptly at 8:30. He conferred with my husband regarding the problem and got to work. In less than 1 hour the fixture was installed and working. We highly recommend Dempsey Electric. We will use them in the future for all our electrical issues. Thank you.

I had a rental property that needed a variety of electrical work performed. Chris, the Dempsey craftsman, arrived on time and ready to work. Chris was professional, courteous, and helpful providing guidance on the work to be done. When changing the light fixture in the entry way Chris came across a hornet's nest. Instead of letting the homeowner (me) spray the nest Chris said he would be happy to do it. Chris was patient in spite of the fact I did not have all the materials he needed to do the work. I would welcome Chris to do any of my future electrical work.

Dempsey was to arrive between 8:00-9:30 am to install one wall outlet. After not hearing from them, we called them at 9:45. Was informed that the weekly meeting was just finishing and the technician would leave within half an hour, so we had been scheduled for a time that would have been impossible to keep. Timing was critical because at 11:30 we had another contractor starting work that made access to the house impossible. When informed about the timing issue, Dempsey said this was no problem, they would be leaving shortly. At 10:30 we had heard nothing and called. Dempsey informed us that the truck had broken down but that a new truck was being loaded and would be here soon. At 11:30 called Dempsey again after the other contractor arrived. Was informed that the technician had to go to another job. The service was canceled. A lot of things went wrong but scheduling us for a time that was impossible to keep and not calling to keep informed is not acceptable. Dempsey offered to do the installation free but this is not an issue of price it is an issue of scheduling and keeping the customer informed. We have used Dempsey several times over a ten year time period but will no longer use them, they have lost our trust.

Typically, if you call in the morning they will come that afternoon. If you call in the afternoon, typically they will come the following day. I have been doing business with them for about eight years. They always contact me before they head my way. They send qualified people. They typically send over a journey man. I have used them twice this year.

Jack arrived and went right to work and identified the problem. He also told me calculate the amps I have on a circuit to insure that I am not overloading them. I would definitely use Dempsey Electric again if I have the need for an electrician.

Jack was extremely professional, although I'm sure he wanted to laugh at me for hiring the company that installed the wiring that was in place on my unfinished patio. He was patient in explaining all the things wrong with the current work, what was illegal, etc., and he called the office to schedule an estimate to have them completely redo the entire job. I am waiting on that estimate now. When he called into the office to get details on what I should do to move forward with the proper permits for the job, Wes even called the city permitting office for me to explain the situation. Overall, I couldn't be happier, and I look forward to working with them again. Update - Work completed Jack installed conduit and several outlets on the patio, along with a new circuit for my deep freeze. (Hope I got the terms correct.) He did a beautiful job, and I'm excited to see how everything works once I get the patio completed.

The electrician arrived on time and was very pleasant. He was surprised that he was supposed to bring a cover for the hole in the ceiling where one ceiling fan was removed and a light fixture was being hung. This was discussed on the phone at the time that I scheduled the work to be done and was part of the pricing. I bought the big deal and was told the first hour was where the discount was covered and the regular price kicked in after that...but the job should not take more than three hours tops. The electrician arrived some time between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm and did not leave until after 8:00 pm. I was asked to go to the hardware store and try to buy a cover...which I did and they did not have a cover available. So the job cost at least $200 more than was anticipated and I was left with a hole in the ceiling.

Their pricing was average. I was happy with their service and responsiveness.

We got two estimates and Dempsey gave us a very good price. Mark us down as completely satisfied!

I have used them on previous occasions. They are reasonably priced. The electricians are skilled and excellent. Each time they send someone out, they are excellent, professional and communicate very well. I will use them again very soon.

They showed up to install a 220 plug in my home when they said they would and did what they said they were going to do. I asked them after the first quote to do an extra plug and they agreed to do it for a very reasonable price. I wasn't around when they finished so they called the next day to make sure everything was done right.

Responsive. Prompt. Willing to do a time and materials contract capped at contract amount which saved me 1k. Very easy to deal with. Everything done on time and appears to be high quality.

Overall, it went well. The only complaint I had is that it did not appear that the electrician made sure all of the switches/outlets were working. We had to call them back a couple of times to work on non-working outlets/switches. They were very prompt on dealing with the issues though.

I've used them twice. Once was after Hurricane Ike and the next time was recently when I had an issue with one of my light switches. During the storm a tree fell and pulled my breaker box away from my house. Their electrician had a perfect opportunity to tell me I needed a brand new breaker box. Instead all he had to do was reconnect the box to the house. Instead of a 1500.00 bill, I paid less than 300.00. The second time was for the light switch. I was afraid the switch had come loose since it shocked me a couple of times when I turned it on. He didn't find anything wrong and the shock turned out to be static electricity. Paranoia costs. It's nice to find a company that doesn't take advantage when they have the opportunity. They have me for life.
