 + -1 moreMr. McBride showed up 30 minutes after I called for service. He completed all tasks in a timely, clean and efficient manner. He was extremely polite and worked very hard in this Houston heat all day. I am not sure how he did all he did in the hot sun. He cleaned the weeds from our flower beds all around the back yard (and there were a lot of weeds). He planted the plants I had bought and he went to get the mulch and spread it in the backyard and front yard.
Description of Work: Clearing weeds, planting plants and providing and spreading mulch.

 + -1 moreFor an unconventional way of meeting, Curtis McBride was perfect. Curtis McBride came to our door looking for work after Hurricane Ike. I showed him the items that needed to be completed and he gave me a quote and reference of a customer in our neighborhood. He was given glowing review. I called him to schedule the work. Each day he showed up promptly at the time he said when he would each day and worked all day. Curtis McBride did the work himself; he did not use any day laborers. He did not ask for a deposit/money for materials until after he had mulched and weeded about 3/4 of our yard. I would hire and plan to have Curtis McBride work for us again.
Description of Work: Curtis McBride performed several tasks in our yard. He weeded (weeds had over taken the front yard flower beds) and removed debris (from Hurricane Ike) from our 10,000 square foot yard. He also mulched the whole yard and put down newspaper as a natural weed barrier per our request. He trimmed up the bushes and plants in the front yard. Curtis rebuilt our retaining wall and fixed a sprinkler that was damaged when two large oak tress came down during Hurricane Ike. He removed grass along our garage's side yard and put in crush granite. His price included all materials.
