Took longer than expected.

Chop and his crew did an excellent job. The workmanship is excellent and he took care of any issues that I found without complaint or change orders. I have future work to do on my home and plan to use him again. I have also highly recommended him for my neighbors and family.

Chop and his team did a great job. I had 3 contractors bid on the job. The bids were comparable in price. Chop presented a professionally written thorough proposal with his bid. He was also the most professional in the discussions prior to submitting the bid. I selected his company for these two reasons. Chop and his team were professional throughout the job and built exactly what they proposed. They built the garage just the way that I had requested and they bid. I will use Chops construction as my go to construction company for future projects on my home.

Overall the quality of the finished product was good for the price. However, dates, times and start times were constantly changing for a variety of reasons. The project started late and drug on much longer than expected or discussed prior to the project starting.

The finished work was an amazing transformation from the old to the new flooring. The house was originally purchased in part because of this large 2nd floor game room ( approximately 18 ft by 22 ft) for our two children to play in and use. The game room served its purpose well. With both now young adults, it was time for remodeling. After obtaining two other estimates, I contacted Chop on the recommendation of a local supply company representative. My wife and I found Chop to be an amazing individual, very articulate and precise with his work, including the estimate. The two young men in his employmment were very polite and considerate. Chop provided instruction to both on refinement of proper techniques for installation of the hardward flooring. Chop was the main installer with the young men serving as assistants. The work was completed in the 2.5 days which confirmed the accuracy of the time estimate for the work. They perform all types of work involving home maintenance, including upgrades, both interior and exterior. Attached for your reference are photographs of the before and after stairway, and then photographs of the finished large game room. Please notice the method of installation on the stairs. The same flooring boards were used with the leading step edge of each being stained and hard clear-coat finished to match the flooring exactly. Originally, I thought this was unusual, even though I looked at the flooring pictures on Chop's website. There is great benefit to having the steps installed and completed by this method. Rather than slipping on carpeted steps as I did before on occasions, I can sense the step edge directly through my bedroom-slippered feet. For those of us who are aging, I consider this to be a great safety feature. I hope to employ Chop in the fututre and have recommended him to neighbors and co-workers. My only regret is by making this recommendation on Angie's List, his work time availability will become consumed by other members.
